over the summer I'll be playing basketball every MWF, Soccer on tuesdays and Softball (lol, softball) on sundays. Really the only way I'll run is if I'm playing a sport with it...I can't run for the sake of running, I get so bored (short attention span).
Jogging would be better for improving your performance. Consider moving position to the forwards. Open side flanker might suit you.
