... It's funny, I wouldn't either. The new Rolls Phantom is exclusive (as of now) to the Chinese market. They're all new money - like white trash here winning the lottery. They love tacky.

Dude, I have one from '83 awesome car.

I am a real fan of old american muscle, if I had a chance I would love to pick up something with a bit of history to it.

Of modern cars? I would go with a Tesla Model S that's coming out this year. Finally a electric car not made by idiots, or worse some hybrid loving wacko. (sorry to offended wackos)

Daaaaaamn  I've ridden in a 1,500 HP late '60s nova that was alcohol and set up strictly for drags - scared the FOOKING SITE out of me, and I'm no stranger to fast toys.....

But 1,200 in streeter? Stock / sleeper mode to boot? I would LOVE to own that car! I LOVE sleepers!! lmao

My truck is pushing 450 HP but thats in a 6,000 lb vehicle......I LOVE that baby, but......again.....DAAAAAMN

That thing sounded SOOOOOOO good ;o)

Lets build one Dimey!!!!!! (but I'd have to insist on blown, not charged ;o)

Paxton? Kind of tough to get a 14-71 under the stock hood. I planned on one of those in high school but I've been side tracked.

Weiland makes a low-profile blower and I've seen some funky off-to-the-side setups too; they're so much simpler and purer than a charger with the intercoolers and heat issues from exhaust....

ps - my ideal sleeper is the old early 70's convertible eldorados...used to have a 72 and that was the coolest car......with the 500 cube and front wheel drive it was a blast and had a ton of potential.....may as well be comfy whilst blowing away the competition

Two questions:

1) By "500 cube", do you mean 500 cubic inches of displacement? And if so...

2) How the hell can a front-wheel drive car handle that much engine?

You need to go find an 1972 Eldorado at a show and shine Timminz just to see the thing in person. The only cars that will be larger will be a few Chryslers. They are longer than a Humvee I believe.

There's not much space under the hood of the Novas Kool. If you put in a big block with the wrong intake manifold you'll have clearance issues. The Paxtons are the origional off to the side superchargers with an air tube system that goes to the carburator much like a turbo charger.

Here's a bit of a beater Eldorado smoking the front tires.

The Oldsmoble Toranados had less cubic inches but were pretty peppy. Also front wheel drive.

Yes, 500 CI..#1 the thing was a BEAST...total land yacht...weighs 5,000 lbs...lol. #2 they were build really choked down for all the emissions crap but at that vintage, it no longer has to go thru DEQ so you can BUILD them...mine stock would smoke the front tires thru 2nd gear...really fun ;o)

Loved the toronados...rivieras....88's....I dig big iron. A buddy has a cherry '65 Delta 88 thats totally sweet....maybe I can get that some day to play with......

very similar to this but white....425 total stock motor....wish it was the 455 but still lots of potential
