I don't get people who participate in one-dimensional sports. That's any sort of racing (track, swimming, biking, etc.) and I find it extremely boring and just not fun. Unlike real sports (basketball, rugby, soccer, football, baseball, etc.), they aren't so dependent on ONE attribute. If some guys faster than you, then fine, you can just play defense on him or something.

But no...running is just...running...

Nah playing mastermind in anything but RL would be lame cause it's solvable (as rds says earlier?). Thus we can all draw up sweet logic trees inbetween guesses...

Different folks, different strokes.

I like one-dimensional sports more because the physical ability of the competitors is assessed in a more controlled way meaning that things like luck are minimised and preparation and training is everything.
