Try to avoid doing this while driving through the mountain passes the roads are narrow.

No way. That's the best place to do it. Gives it some challenge and motivation for success.

True story:

One time while leaving school, the roads were extremely slick and there were patches of ice everywhere. A buddy of mine, not so bright or cautious, pulled the emergency brake when we were turning a corner going about 25 or 30 mph. Sure enough, we hit some ice, but somehow the driver managed to keep out of a ditch. We ended up doing a complete rotation and stayed on the road and continued along our initial trajectory- until we pulled over and kicked the dumbass out and made him walk home.

In retrospect it was pretty sweet, but I wouldn't want to do it again.

Are they navy whites? I'd try to shout it out. Sooner the better. While they are still wet would be best. Follow the insructions on the tag.

Obviously I mean have your laundry service take action as soon as possible and this is just another downside to wearing pants.
