That was not the original quote. The original quote was "if Obama wins, I will fire everyone in my employ". Maybe that was an incorrect quote, but that was the quote to which I referred. I have heard it quoted that way elsewhere (no, not on NPR).

The comment you just quoted is stupid rhetoric, but not a threat of the same level. That is more like the NRA telling everyone they had to vote McCain because if Obama was elected he would take all our guns. Funny.. we still have every one of ours here.
