What do you guys think? Should atheists be immediately stripped of citizenship and deported?

Then we could play games trying to identify the poster based on his message.
Would be cool.
P.S. I was torn between this being a NS/PD thread(based only off the title) , probably would have went with NS.

I think all atheists should be deported. HOW DARE THEY live here if they don't believe they're under God?

If atheists were as intelligent and reasonable as bedub suggests
non of this would even be an issue.

Your argument is wrong for one main reason:
Atheists are a very small minority.

In the US? Really?

Some experts also agree America is a place where you are free to worship, or not worship, without fear of your head being cut off. Maybe that's why there are so many atheists here?
Secular Progressives have everything ass-backwards!
Santorum, who hopes to become the second Roman Catholic U.S. president, also said a 1960 speech on religion by Kennedy, the first, had made him want to throw up.
Kennedy said religion and politics should be kept separate, which Santorum called an "absolutist doctrine" that he rejected. "I don't believe in an America where the separation of church and state is absolute," he said on ABC.

Been away for a few days.I just can't believe figures like 2% for the number of atheists in the US.Surely Scientologists,Taoists,Buddhists, etc alone would account for that many alone. As for non religious atheists, how many are willing to admit it in a country where there is still a level of persecution/ discrimination that is inconceivable in any other first world country? This is probably changing quite rapidly but still is a major problem..
