Yea there's been a huge clamor like only not too much more than a century ago to avenge General Custer's death.

I am an Obama supporter and I do not believe that religious institutions should be forced to cover birth control if it is against their beliefs. I also do not have a problem with this tribe requesting approval to kill two birds to satisfy their religious rights provided it is not excessive and does not further endanger this species.
Now that I have satisfied your request, please explain to me your double standard. Why are you against this religious expression but for the other?

This has been pointed out to you several times , not least bt Tgd who is a practising catholic , hanging on to this right wing propoganda just makes you look an utter tool.

They do not. President Obama gave the Catholic Church an exemption. We covered this in another thread already. The conservatives that continue to hang onto this issue are being dumb.

"Following complaints from Catholic bishops, who do not believe that Catholic schools and hospitals should have to provide these services to their employees, an exception was created for religious institutions whereby an employee of a religious institution that does not wish to provide reproductive health care can seek it directly from the insurance company at no additional cost"
It's still essentially a mandate. There is no thing as "free" or "no cost." They teach you that at college on day one. And Catholics still have to essentially be part of plans that offer contraceptives against their beliefs.
And I'd point out that Obama initially had the audacity to fully mandate against freedom of religion. And I don't want the government mandating that private companies have to give out contraceptive anyways. That's not a Constitutional power.

I'm really not for hunting bald eagles. I think they're too pretty and dignified of birds and it makes about as much sense as hunting parrots. I'd be interested in hearing from hunters on their perspective (I'm not a hunter).

They are showing their true colors on this one. AS if it's even remotely comparable.
Unfortunately, the double standard comes pre-programmed when you get one.
