I'm so ropey on US politcs, so I'm not joking when i ask: is 12 per cent not good?
(I know its not good, but Matt Santos polled 12% in New Hampshire, and that was enough to give his campaign a boost and make him a serious challenger. I know the West Wing is real.)

In the primaries that's not bad at all. For a guy like Ron Paul, that's a hell of a good start.

it didnt hurt paul much thought that because everyone figured romney would win the state, few people really went out there. I dont know how much paul did personally but i bet he was able to carve out a bigger percentage.

Florida is going to get really nasty now. If Rudy doesn't win there he's through.

Yeah I agree. For a guy like Ron Paul that's pretty good. Any time an absolute nutjob can con 12% of the people into voting for him that's an accomplishment. I would give most of that credit to our public school system though - raising a bunch of idiots to vote for other idiots.

Also it's nice that you Christians have gotten off of your moral high horse and decided to cuss like the rest of us.

Better yet, he's basically tied McCain for 2nd. If this doesn't get him more press coverage, there isn't much that will...

I'm sure an educated person such as yourself knows better than to generalize.

OK fair enough. I just get tired of all the Christians where I work at trying to turn the mail room into a freaking Bible Club.

Ron Paul is still losing, but his message is very strong...the Republicans would be dumb to deny it! Giulliani's last hope lies in Florida...the home of election fraud.

Definitely looking like Romney now.

Not happy about it but he's by far better than Huckabee.

There is no qualified favorite this year. IMHO, this is beginning to shape up like the 1996 election (as far as the Republican side is concerned).

He's too polarizing of a figure. He also has his own solutions network that he enjoys running.

That makes sense. I guess i never understood why he didnt run in '96, when he was taking Clinton to the cleaners. But too divisive, that makes sense.

Ron stated in a debate that he doesn't buy into that nonsense. Certain supporters of his do though (me not being one of them...)
