I'm now considering moving to Alaska once I graduate. The people up there don't really seem to age. We met a 55 year old who looked like he was still in his mid-20s.

It's the cold, it slows down the process of decay. That and the fact that they don't get sun for half of the year. 6 months of night can really prevent your skin from getting sun damage.
