I'm not too sure about that though. Certainly being an atheist or Muslim or Satanist will affect your popularity a great deal.
I don't think most of them really care as long as the candidates believe in the Christian god.

Even with that hint I'm still not sure what the implications are supposed to be. I suspect something, but it's so vague that it would be embarrassing to mention it.

its really not going to be uncommon though. The polling numbers seem to suggest, at least theres a chance, that a sizeable chunk of hillary supporters may break party lines and vote for mccain, who is certainly not the exact opposite of clinton.
