The way I see it, the Right sticks to the issues, and when they get mad and start pulling the hair out of their heads, it's about the issues.

The left attacks the person "Palin is stupid" "bachmann is crazy" "Bush is a murderer" which implies 0 thought. They barely even mention the issue. From the left, all you need to know is that xyz is stupid, and don't listen to anything they say.

Which expalins why there was 1000's of tea parties full of millions of gun toting, scotch breath knuckle dragging flat-earthers ( ) and there was no shootings.

Hat's off to Creeper though. At least he realizes he jumped the gun and had it all wrong. Way to be the bigger man buddy. Don't let your hatred get the best of you

Under threat of Forum Ban, I have decided not to comment in this thread. I will just post videos and other info for you to mull over.

Wttw ... no one watches video links.

Dunno why you are under threat of ban, though. Neither you nor Ardhus have said anything ban worthy. It's not a crime to be wrong (as noted by Wilhelm Reich) nor to worship unconventional gods, like the US government holy pantheon in which you believe.

I just went back and read through the discussion and I couldn't find anything you said that was worth a ban. You're totally wrong imo, but you're only expressing your view on this. What basis did they give for a ban threat? It must be that new kid - rdrs digits.

I clarified further, she was against Obama and Clinton when the federal gov't took action against Arizona. that is different than saying she voted for 1070b, which she did not. I never said that either. Just admit you thought 1070b was the healthcare reform bill and that I'm too sharp to let you save yourself.

You jumped the gun on calling me a liar. I tell you now you did not understand what i said, because what you say I said I do not agree with. So I wouldn't have said that.

I'm just glad that nobody had done anything to encourage such an incident, like maybe marking a spot on a map with a gun sight (crosshairs) or something like that. Thankfully, nobody would do such a thing, because that might be viewed as incitement to murder.

I thought you were smart enough to realize that those were only to designate which districts should be focused on for the 2010 election. The attempts to smear conservatives for this deranged man's actions continue to astound and infuriate me (even though they are completely predictable).

I'm just glad so many people think they know the shooters motive, and just run with that an imposing changes on the way 300 million other people live their life.

Now, you could of course twist what you mean by "Arizona" and weasel out of this, but her opinions were perfectly clear. She was very much against the immigration bill but she thought the federal government should do something. Not at all what were you implying.

I thought I had this written down as well as the healthcare bit in the original post, but apparently not and it doesn't really change any facts

Ties pretty neatly into her "Don't retreat...reload" statement, as well.

I'm not really saying that Palin is directly responsible...I know better. But her rhetoric, and the larger rhetoric of the right, absolutely DOES include a lot of violent imagery. I DO believe that this rhetoric does have some legitimate responsibility, yes.

Of course. Have you ever gotten the impression from me that I don't believe in speaking out? <smile>

And somehow, I have the impression that the only reason you feel it doesn't matter who does it more is because the right IS who does it more.

So the larger rhetoric from the left (posted by DangerBoy), including the president, mean nothing? This idiot in Arizona believed nothing about the Tea Party or conservatives: he wanted the representative killed because the government was brainwashing everyone causing poor grammar (or something along those absurd lines).

agree to vehemently disagree. I was showing a true effort to rise above that. It doesn't matter, but I get to keep my opinions.

I made a thread to identify these angry commenters so that we can see what it is that should be shunned.

It's too bad that conclusion-jumping isn't an athletic event.

Where did I say anything about the Tea Party? I thought the Tea Party wasn't a part of the right? Was I mistaken in that belief?

The left attack sarah palin becasue she is stupid and her ideas are stupid. Bachmann is batshit, her rhetoric is batshit and her ideas are batshit. As for Bush, ctiticism of that guy is totally unwarranted. He's a sweet old guy who never broke any laws, did anything wrong, and in fact I want to give 'im a hug.
