Seriously. And it's just a matter of putting some text in there, not exactly difficult.
Also, I've already been "boycotting" all of those for a couple of years now. Do you guys really regularly eat shitty fast foods?
I can get a pretty good curry for cheaper than a KFC.

I can't speak for anyone else, but...yes. We're out doing community service with the cadets all the time, so it's easier and faster to just do the fast food thing when we're done.

Normally, with this crowd volume you would expect short tempers and bedlam. Thatās not the case today at Chick-fil-A. While the surrounding restaurant chains are empty, the people in this line are happily making a statement, talking to each other with smiles on their faces. Theyāre patriots taking a stand against a gross violation of our First Amendment right. And they are doing it in 100 degree temperatures.

Most people draw the line well short of physical violance.
Also, the idea that people truly are able to fight big corporations by "fighting with their feet" is belied by corporations like Walmart. In many communities, people just don't have any other option.
To claim that making the decision to not pay triple or more for the same goods (including gas/travel expenses), when you are making barely above minimum wage or perhaps even on public assistance is really a "free choice" is silly.

Stealing radiojake's ideas now?

So you hate fat people AND eat shitty food all the time?
Ok, now I get why you do all that cardio.

Even if you're only appealing to the ~30% of the population that just really doesn't like gay people and wants them to stop being all gay (this isn't just about marriage, they support Pray Away the Gay. which is just downright destructive) being the Official Fast Food of Bigots (tm) should get them some solid market share. While as a fan of American values I will never buy Chik-Fil-A food again (I have, three times. It's pretty good chicken) I can respect a solid business move.

How many communities? I'd argue that the benefits of competition by Wal-Mart offset the costs for nearly all Americans.
BigBallinStalin wrote:The acceptable balance of price and quality is determined by the consumers through trial-and-error and by consumer reports and relevant information by word-of-mouth and other means. If Wal-Mart loses this balance, its consumers will shop elsewhere, thus providing a profit motive for other grocers, farmers, farmers' markets, etc., which still operate in many areas nearby Wal-Marts.

Excellent point. Just look at the pic Scott posted, to see how smart a move this was.
