McCain cancells interview with Larry King. It seems as though he thought an interview with Tucker Bounds (who?) was out of line and therefore the whole station should be ignored or whatever.
Apparantly asking for an example of a command decision by Palin is "out of line".....
Thanks a lot for this post, I doubt I'd have heard about that without your post. What I find most interesting, however, is that McCain is reportedly "infuriated" about the media coverage of Palin's daughter's pregnancy. While I agree with Obama that it is a subject that should be off limits, why didn't McCain come out against the exploitation of that video clip of Rev. Wright months ago? Shouldn't that also be an off-limits topic?
Besides which, you can't blame a dog for being a dog, and you can't blame the media for being a bunch of bottom-feeding rodents. They always will be.
Long gone are the days when topics were considered off-limits for reporters, and I sincerely do wish they would return.
The video is a prime example of what good reporting should be. Sticking it to the interviewee on a pertinent topic; something which is very much the voting public's business to know.
It's none of my business, however, that Sarah Palin's daughter is preggers.
Or that allegations exist that Cheney's daughter is a dyke, or that Bush's daughters are drunken sluts . . .
