I have never smoked pot, nor I have I done any drug for that matter. People who do most likely got caught up in it when they were young and stupid. Adults who start up, well they are just stupid to begin with. Even if drugs weren't deadly, they are as expensive as hell, and totally pointless. If you are going to spend some money, go spend it on something useful or productive. People that do drugs, or smoke, or drink, you're just throwing your money away on nothing. You want entertainment, go read a book, play risk on CC. Watch a movie, go bowling, have sex. There are lots of things to do that are fun, much cheaper, and not harmful to your body. I'm 30, and have never been drunk, nor i have I had a drop of alcohol since my 21st birthday. I drank sparkling grape Juice at my wedding. Came in a wine bottle, but no alcohol. I have never been high, or done a drug period. I go to a party, and I see drugs, I leave. I do not smoke, not even socially. I have smoked less than one cigarette over the course of my whole life. The times I've taken a puff off a cig, have been to amuse my friends, and to prove I won't go into a coughing fit. Just those single puffs make me feel very faint, and weird, so I don't know how anyone could smoke a whole cigarette without passing out, or vomiting. And the taste, ugh. I had some beer when I was about five, and it was awful then. When I drank it again at 21, I figured it would taste better as an adult, boy was I wrong. I'd sooner drink my own piss than a bottle of beer. Got some money to spend on entertainment, go buy your girlfriend flowers, and take her out for a romantic dinner, and I guarantee, she'll give you all the entertainment you could ever want.

Yeah yeah yeah...nice high horse you've got there.

So...everyone who enjoys a beer or a glass of wine is stupid? I would say that you are the stupid one as you are missing out on some of life's simple pleasures. Remember, not everyone drinks until they pass out. I had some merlot with dinner last night, and it was wonderful!

You seem like a very controlling personal. I'll bet your wife/GF doesn't drink either...probably out of fear of your tirade.

You chose the wrong beer. Most likely like most ignorant youth, you chose to drink Coors, Miller, Bud, or Corona. You WERE drinking piss!

It isn't addictive, chemically at least. You may have an urge to smoke, but thats just a craving for the high. Kinda like wanting a big n' juicy double bacon cheeseburger. I'm not addicted to cheeseburgers, but I want one really bad right now.

p.s.

I was ripped out of my mind for the last three days.

Weed isn't chemically addictive, but it can be argued that it is emotionally addictive, like gambling or sex. As with everything else in life, the important thing is moderation. I smoke every day, and have medical reasons for doing so, but that doesn't make me an addict or a menace to society. Even when it is party time and I get so stoned I can barely open my eyes, I'm far less trouble than your average beer-swilling drunk.

Sorry Senor Tard, but he is correct.

Marijuana is not physically addictive like heroin, methamphetamine, cocaine, alchohol or nicotine (ie: sweats, shakes, intense cravings, irritability, DT's, etc).

Psychologically addictive? Sure...just like most things pleasurable as mentioned above.

I haven't smoked in about 3 months...I'm fine.

Like everyone else has said...pot is not addictive physically. Anyone who thinks otherwise has been mislead by anti-drug propaganda (I'm using the term drug very loosely).

Well then you seriously need to see a psychiatrist. Even the WORST addictive drugs, once kicked, wont give you physical symptoms like "cold sweats" and "nervous problems" a year later.

After a year of whatever you were on...it's all you now.

Jamie, you have so many issues that its hilarious. Try having some sort insight on the subject at hand and stop talking out of your ass. Weed is not chemically addictive, which is what people usually mean when talking about drugs and addiction. A dependency can arise from smoking pot, but the same sort of dependency can arise from a number of everyday things that you feel the need to do to be happy. People who become dependent have addictive personalities and/or other problems to begin with. I smoked alot for two months straight and then quit when the new semester started since I knew my workload was going to be much greater. I didn't feel A SINGLE THING. No urges, no restlessness, no depression. This is first hand experience, so f*ck off you self-righteous cunt.

Not sure if I understand your point. Are you saying that just because a lot of people smoke it anyway, that it should be legalized?
