OK, look, to be totally on the level here, I had known IR since she was eighteen and a day. I know this because she told me so. She turned out to be a GREAT(holy chorome-off-a-trailer-hitch!) friend as we often met up when she was passing through on her way to "acting" gigs(she always put up the quote signs when she said "acting" for some reason. I always thought was pretty cute, myself).
Anyway, a lawyer-friend of mine told me that she died from a massive internal hematoma caused by repeated blunt-force-trauma to the back of the throat ninety-nine hours after the person that had rented the room(for seven days and will remain un-named) she claimed she was assaulted in had officially checked out. Furthermore, there are nine witnesses that coroborate her story that she was "still good to go for days" after the "room-renter" had left.
Any lawyers here? Sounds like a pretty air-tight alibi for the renter-of-the-room, don't it?
Seriously now, lemme know. For a friend...
Don't it?
Not a medical expert, but I have worked enough emergency services to know that the above scenario is at least plausible. I hope this is not true, but it could be.
Given all that has been said here, I will leave it at that.
Seriously??? .
No, I was tired and did not read the account fully. Not that anyone really cares anyway, but the above is bull. However, it is possible to walk away from an accident, think everything is basically OK, and then collapse and die hours later or even a day or two later. For that to happen after having been the hospital.. would be very unlikely, though. As far as being in an induced coma with a 20% survival, while comas are used in various situations, again, this particular situation seems a bit odd.
And I go back to.. most of us here don't have any facts and cannot be sure those who say they have them are speaking factually. (on all sides of this)
So, whatever the deal, I personally just hope insomniared the best.
