"Years of experience", eh? Have you ever considered that it might not be the cause that's hopeless, but you? I honestly feel bad for the conservatives with the ability to reason with people logically, who have to put up with nutbars like you claiming to represent their interests. Not all that bad though. I'm always up for a good laugh.

Aw c'mon guys, you're going to make jay feel like he's being crucified, dying for his beliefs! Every strike of the nail, thorn in the brain, whip to the back, and the occasionally falter while bearing the cross, all these are embodied in the form of these insults directed at this poor man. Stand firm, jay, you must continue your one-man crusade--I mean, I mean, You must exemplify what it is to be Christ-like: turn the other cheek, envelop us in the same love that Jesus had for everyone, and have compassion for our fellow man--or woman.

You want to live up to Jesus Christ's example, don't you, jay??

Jay you make good points but sometimes go way too over the top.

I agree with Timminz's statements. It's difficult to argue a point when one is lumped into a group that includes some real crazy, racist, and/or fascist people (not saying Jay is... just saying). That being said, the people that do the lumping should take some of the blame as well.
