Ah patches, you stepped into the conversation, ok I will clarify 1st you don't know what apostate means, yes I am a veteran,no I don't condone any type of abuse of women or children and that includes torture rape or murder, I do say if you live in any country and they have clearly defined their laws and you don't like them you should actively seek a way out. Not break them and hope the world will be the cavalry, America has taken alot of shit everyone thinking we are the world's police, we aren't. Let the Swiss take up that mantle if they want it.I also believe everyone in America has the right to believe how they want and say what they want as long as they have knowledge of what they say, not just what their friends or church says, but because they actually read more than one article from more than one source, also don't interpet what you think I mean, if I am unclear say it and ask for clarity. Anything else you want to know?

Got it. George Washington should have moved to Amsterdam in 1776 instead of breaking British laws.

jgordon1111 wrote:America has taken alot of shit everyone thinking we are the world's police, we aren't.

For the record, I've never thought of the U.S. as the world's police. I don't know any police department that gives guns to drug-addicted, possibly pedophile, serial killers (Salman al-Saud). World's kingpin? Believable. World's mafia don? Okay. World's police? LOL.

To quote MAJ-GEN Smedley Butler, the only U.S. Marine to twice receive the Medal of Honor - "I spent 33 years and four months in active military service and during that period I spent most of my time as a high class muscle man for Big Business, for Wall Street and the bankers. In short, I was a racketeer, a gangster. Looking back on it, I might have given Al Capone a few hints. The best he could do was to operate his racket in three districts. I operated on three continents."

Ok I did read what the guardian had to say about this, Saxi you dumb pissant, nobody no where say anything about these50 being children or women not even the source you quoted.2 were minors when they committed their alleged crimes but no CHILDREN OR WOMEN mentioned by anyone, also mentioned was the high number if executions the Saudi's have done this year, more than since 1979 when al-Qaida held the golden mosque, but even guardian mentioned that 100's have been killed by terrorist attacks this year and Saudi is warning them by executing these people as a sign of what is in store for them if caught promoting terrorism there.

WTF?

jgordon1111 wrote:Ah patches, you stepped into the conversation, ok I will clarify 1st you don't know what apostate means,

Well then why don't you provide your made up definition of the word apostate. An apostate is anyone who renounces their religion, political belief or principle. None of which is any justification what so ever for execution. Not to make an example of, not as a warning to others, not for any reason, period.

Saudi Arabia is executing apostates, you said Saudi Arabia is executing terrorists, therefore it is no stretch of logic if one infers from you that you believe apostates are terrorists.

Thus, you must believe that every atheist, protester, whistleblower, or politician that changes parties are all terrorists and thus deserve to be executed. So please do, clarify. Keep on defending Saudi Arabia.

And for the record, I'm a veteran as well (Yeah us!<high five>). There is absolutely nothing wrong with Saxi highlighting Saudi Arabia and pointing out what he believes they are about. That doesn't make it right for you to denounce him as "unAmerican". As a veteran you made took an oath (as I did), to uphold and defend the Constitution. With your type of coercion you are shitting all over your oath.
It is absolute, indisputable fact that the Saudi Arabia government is totalitarian, thugish and frankly, evil.
And you're right, the US is not the world police. Thus, not only should you not be calling Saxi unamerican, you should be saying to people like Bernie Sanders "Syria isn't our problem, we aren't the world's police".
As an American you should be questioning our political leaders who have aligned themselves with the evils of the House of Saud on the one hand and on the other hand have the nerve condemn the evils of Russia or Assad who are actually fighting a common enemy that is ISIS.

Do you not see the hypocrisy in this? Do you not see how a web of lies forces people to do logical somersaults (of the kind that Bernie Sanders does who keeps calling on the ouster of Assad, the evils of Putin, the nobility of the FSA who are doing something that in Saudi Arabia would get them branded as terrorists and get their heads chopped off) to justify positions that are completely illogical and opposite based solely on partisanship, graft, ideology and personal gain rather than what is moral, ethical, and legal. Bernie Sanders seems to believe the US is the world's police or else he wouldn't be shouting from the rooftops that Assad has to go. When are you going to tell Bernie Sanders to shut the f*ck up with his bullshit?

Poor poor Saxi, you and player seem to have more in common than I thought until now, like Player you only quote what seems to best forward your goals and agenda at the moment, again passant if you quote me show all of it in the context I presented it in. So by scratching out alleged crimes as I wrote it , are you now reversing your prior position of these people's rights, and that they actually commited crimes?

That's what you get pissant for misquoting me.

patches, why are you so upset? You should calm down before you post. Your confusion, or at least it seems to us, might be contributed to your lack of knowledge of world affairs. You certainly do not know where I stand on Saudi Arabia and I believe your ramblings on this thread is more related to your bromance of Saxi.

Quite the contrary, patches and everyone knows where Bernie Sanders stands. Your position on the murderous Saudi regime that America supports has been well documented. David Swanson recently wrote a great article on Counterpunch titled "Bernie Sanders Insists Saudi Arabia Should Kill More People" that provides a good summary of Bernie's pro-war, pro-oil, pro-business-as-usual, positions.

You guys, Bernie Sanders isn't gonna be able to look-up gifs fast enough to keep up.

Please give him at least a few minutes to push his tongue back in his mouth and wipe the saliva off his chin before continuing. That's just good etiquette when running a train on someone.

Here's the facts, not the headline quotes of a partisan news agency

Yes, I want Saudi Arabia to kill more ISIS, but Saudi Arabia is more worried about the Shiites in Yemen.

Saxi, wants to cover up his backing of murderous regimes, Russia included and his nonsense politics that keep getting in the way of facts. So, he points all around him and says look at that and that. Then you go on a campaign of misleading other poster's views.

Silly Saxi, you are wrong again, but we know facts don't matter with you and your tiny circle of clown supporters here at CC. We don't expect much from you, but you do entertain us from time to time with your ability to write fiction. The problem though is your ability to write good fairy tales is failing of late. Perhaps, the vodka drinking is getting the best of you.

Did you even look at the link saxi provided, before posting your Politifact "debunking?" Probably not, because you would have noticed that it's responding to a completely different story from two months ago. Now, you could of course attempt to come back from this embarrassment by pointing out that the Politifact piece nevertheless clarifies Sanders' stance on Saudi Arabia. However, since the Counterpunch piece is specifically (among other things) indicting Saudi Arabia for bombing Yemen using US bombs, you would still end up looking like an idiot.

The ISIS/ISIL or whatever name they go by is a ARAB/MUSLIM issue. I do not want American troops in Syria or Iraq. I want Saudi Arabia, Egypt, Jordan, Gulf states and even Iran to fight and destroy these terrorist. We should give them support, but not American blood.

No back pedaling, just want Syria's neighbors and YES, even the 4 million refugees [at least 20,000 able bodied Syrians to come back and fight for their country] and get rid of Assad and ISIS/ISIL.

hahah, here you are calling for Syria's neighbors to invade, destablize Syria and then have the guts to complain about Russia invading Ukraine. Bwahahah.

I got a better idea, Bernie, why don't you not worry about Assad, Syria because Assad and Syria are exactly zero threat to your country (the US). It's none of your business. And while your at it, why don't you refrain from egging other countries into a fight with each other?

You want to have the Syrian refugees (who are mostly fleeing from the likes of ISIS, FSA and other rebels) to come back and fight for their country against Syrians who are fighting for their country.
Mr Sanders, you have neither the wisdom nor ability to navigate this mess. When you try to stick your two cents in all you do is make it worse. You want war with all. Want Syria to stabilize? Then get the hell out of Assad and Russia's way and let them sort it out.
While you're at it, get the State Department and the CIA out of the Ukraine and speak out against the US for going against her explicit promise to Russia to not expand NATO towards her borders.

Now if your worried about some other country you think Syria and Assad are a danger to, then put your cards on the table and play them. Then you can explain how you don't give two shits about the US' interests, you are looking out for the interests of another country. Then maybe people will be able to understand your logic somersaults.

Man, I can't wait until the real Bernie Sanders gives his "the merits of Democratic Socialism" speech he's been promising for ages. When he finally does that's it for that loser, he's done and the Democrat party can get on to nominating the criminal Hitlary for President.

Now that he's been backed into a corner by the denizens of CC, I predict Bernie Sanders will start-in with the John McCain "barrel bomb" meme ...

Bernie Sanders wrote:The refugees, most of them were running away from Assad's murderous troops and barrel bombing.

Oh, hey!

John McCain wrote:Meanwhile, Piers, in all due respect, these barrel bombs, these explosive-filled, fuel-filled, shrapnel-filled bombs are being dropped, slaughtering innocent people by Bashar al-Assad.

http://www.truthrevolt.org/news/mccain- ... d-us-fools

The only old fool who still blathers on about "barrel bombs," long after that was debunked faster than A Gay Girl in Damascus is John McCain during his polemics in the Senate. What other positions of John McCain does Bernie Sanders parrot? They're joined at the plastic hip, it seems.

Remember, John McCain (and ergo, it seems, Bernie Sanders) is getting his info from a woman who faked her PhD and who worked for one of the key lobbying groups calling for U.S. support for the Syrian "rebels" that is run by a 24 year-old waitress at TJ's Seafood Shack in metro Orlando.

Yes, and the author of the Counterpunch piece isn't disagreeing with that. The author is objecting to the fact that Saudi Arabia is bombing the residents of another nation with US-made cluster bombs. You seem to be proposing that Saudi Arabia redirect those US-made cluster bombs to kill Sunnis (ISIS) instead of Shia (Houthis). In a different location which is still not in Saudi Arabia. Thereby entirely missing the point of the author's criticism.

In other words, you just want Saudi Arabia to blow up bombs somewhere. As long as it's killing ARAB/MUSLIMS, you're fine with it.
