Hi, I'm Symmetry, apparently you are new. I post a fair bit in both.

I'd like to see a more social, more inclusive usergroup, encouraging participation in the forums.

Not a bad idea. I was hoping for it to be a bit less high school cliquey than PL, so that might work. You still towing the party line over there?

I do toe the party line. How would I tow it? Would I be able to use a Dodge Stratus?

You know, I thought I'd messed that one up. It was one of those cases where tow (I.e. to pull or drag) makes more sense than its homophone.

Good to to know you're toeing the party line anyway. DodgeStrati tend to dislike critics.

PD/Dodge Stratus isn't involved in the PL in any way nor has he ever been.

Membership in the PL or any other group on this site is not a secret, you just have to look on any members page to see what groups they are in.

That wasn't what I needed to know mate, but anyway, I have what I need, and that's enough said on the matter for now.

Because OT is moderated in a totally not fun way.

Symmetry stated standard forum rules will apply.

Good name. Also, the PL is not cliquey. Some of the group are friends; what a coincidence that friends are in the same usergroup! You clearly have a very ill informed idea of how the PL is ran. I know you used to be a member.

Also, this is in the wrong forum. It should be here: viewforum.php?f=444

Before you ask, I will not be joining, as this won't help main forum activity at all.

So now the PL clique are done, can we get back on topic?

I've only had a few definite, with a lot of maybes. A further round of recruiting may be in order.

I heard you were. I don't care if you were. If anything, your new usergroup is going to hurt the forums, not benefit them. I'll file a report to move this to the correct forum section for you as well.

Hmm, you're making a bit of a habit out threats of late. I don't like it, and I'd appreciate it if you would stop for the benefit of myself and those who would like to reply freely within these forums.

I haven't made any threat in this thread. In my first post, I indicated that your thread was in the wrong forum. Since then I reported the thread so that a mod can move it to the correct location (which is the correct method of having a thread moved as far as I'm aware).

My main concern however, is how on earth this usergroup will help the forums, and I have yet to see any attempt to explain. It just seems like more a group to talk about things whilst avoiding people you dislike. If regular OT/GD posters join the group, logic dictates that activity in the OT/GD forums will drop.

I think everybody noticed your threat, and your careful use of "in this thread" referring to your use of threats. I've asked you politely to stop, and I'll ask you again. Can this be the end of it? Or are you going to keep going with this?

Anyway, there's nowhere to move this thread to. At best it could be moved to the Clan fora, but it's not a clan thread, so that wouldn't work.

Hardly- it was a move from GD to Callouts. A move from OT to a thread specifically requesting complete applications is a different kettle of fish.

When I assemble 9 posters, and have a name for the usergroup, I will apply via that forum. Them's the rules for creating a usergroup.

Anyway, as I take it you're back in the thread and willing to chat, can I chalk you up as a maybe?

You realise that forum is also used for starting usergroups in the same way that you are? That's a rhetorical question, because we both know you do. You're not stupid, just trolling.
