Wouldn't it be better to look up some stuff online through WebMD?

The gallbladder is on the right side of the upper abdominal area. Sometimes the pain of a gallstone can affect the back, as a secondary region, but there would be some pretty bad abdominal pain, plus any of a number of other symptoms as well

I did look it up on webmd, wasn't very helpful. I find it more helpful to talk to someone who's had it before.

well, we do need other interests to invest our free time in, aside from drawing down the moon, running naked through forests, and sewing capes

Actually one of my co-workers had emergency gallbladder surgery and never had abdominal pain. She described a "knot" in her back and feeling sick, but never belly pain.

nah, not a hypochondriac, don't think I have gallbladder problems, just relaying an anecdotal story. The only reason I was even slightly concerned was I have something big coming up next week, so can NOT be or get sick. Normally I just ignore any pains or whatnot until they go away. Hasn't worked on half of you guys yet, but I'm patient. 8)
