1. I am not and cannot vote for any of those, for multiple reasons.

2. Notice how I said "history declares", not "turns out to be"? The actual personality of the person generally has very little impact on how they are seen by future generations. Any of those mentioned there have essentially just as much chance of being seen as insane megalomaniacs as Ron Paul (except Bush; he's already seen as one)

Anyway, the point was directed at Jay. If he managed to perform a 180 degree turn in his opinions just because his political figure said so (using the exact same arguments as people here have been reciting for months), then what does the future have in store for him?

They failed, so I voted the lesser of two evils. Ron Paul is not even in the same category as Bush or Kerry. Paul genuinely cares about the future of this country..... THAT is the difference.

I really don't see the point of everyone putting the well being of 'their' country first. Australians aren't any more pleasant or intelligent in general than the inhabitants of any other nation of the world I don't share any kinship with the vast, vast majority of them.
