I hear that, but, that is where bayonets come in. Or 19th century sabres.Strife wrote:I would have to say with the limited choices, the sword. If the spear was an option I would have chosen that because I can use it the best.(Swords aren't as fun, not long enough range)
Actually, I have an ancient sabre from China. I think it is dated from the 5th century B.C.muy_thaiguy wrote:I hear that, but, that is where bayonets come in. Anyway, my choice was knife, I'm a big collector of knives and I always have one on me, they're effective tools and they let someone know you mean business.

I prefer a good ole' labrys or doubleheaded axe though.
You realize that a short sword could be reffered to as a dagger?fireedud wrote:I would prefer a dagger, but since there is no option, I chose sword which is just as cool.
If someone had a gun and I had say handwraps, well, you don't bring a gun to a Strife fight.strike wolf wrote:The Factory wrote:That Pearl Harbor pistol looks so hokey.

And swords wouldn't? Honestly if you didn't have a gun on you (or anything else that can kill long range) and you see a guy with a sword, would you really want to go mess with him?

But I would take a staff, I prefer the non-lethal aproach, which is harder to achieve with an edged weapon. Plus the range is better, unless I was inside were some form of baton or tonfu would be better.
