I still don't understand why spamalot was closed though Wasn't truly using it to improve post-count, though the thread may have said so. Mainly just to chat and have a fun time Which is most of what this type of section of a forum is aimed for. And most spamming would be kept to one thread

Spamalot got locked because 40 pages of spam is generally a bad thing.

Believe it or not, Spamalot isn't actually a place for you to "spam a lot". Its more of a discussion group (well, discussion group is kinda stretching it, but its not a spam thread). Spamalot actually takes an anti-spam position on most problems on the site. Its strange, but true.

Spamalot has a lot of history here on CC and no one wants it to get screwed over by a few people attempting to troll-invade our forums.

Just an fyi, it was two of your own, along with me and one other from my forum, posting in it. Not just ogamers

Just usually I think the mods reflect the user-base, but meh

it's hard to reflect the user base here. Due to how the forums are, when you go into a different forum, you'll usually find different kinds of people. (And some of the same big posters. )
