Care to provide an example?

Okay, maybe there's a way to repair the disconnect here: give us an example of what you mean by modern-time fiction (that had no origins in real life), that is determining real life?

Not all legeneds of supernaturally great warriors (like what I was talking about) originated in real people.
I've given my example. It's time for you to give your modern-day example, and explain how it's nothing like my ancient example.

By modern fiction I'm referring to basiclly evrything on TV. Everything from personality, ideals, orginizations, morals or lack of, perception, and obligation. You name it and it's been done. Lying being cool, having sex being cool, government organizations being formed, perception of areas or places that we have no idea about, convient life obligations, and proper ideals of the gender can all be traced back to the big screen. It's hanging right infront of everyone's face to be seen and yet it's being blissfully ignored.![]()
There are also some good things that the tube has installed into society but I only listed the most recent installments.(last 5 years or so)

Ditocoaf wrote:So you're saying that "sex is fun" originated completely on the screen, and not at all in society, but in ancient times "you become more powerful if you kill many men in battle" came completely from society, and not at all from stories?

Although you're putting words into my mouth by saying I used the term "fun" I will answer according to what I said. Being "cool" (the term I used) DOES originate from the tube.

Television has been shaped by our culture, not the other way around.

It now seems as though the exact opposite occurs. Now fiction dictates reality!
