Just why was/is xtratabasco banned?

He's not banned from games is he? I thought Xtra just had a permaban from the Forums. Norse has got an all-round ban.

Norse got an all round ban? Damn. A lot happened when I wasn't here.

Norse got kicked off the whole site, Xtra is still Forum banned, with the occasional escape from ConquerClubMed. If Xtra was a multi, he wouldn't be on the site at all either, but apparently that is not the case, as rumor had it.

To have xtra back for that one day was awesome! I hope it happens again!

Exactly. I know there are rules and all, but do the mods really have to be so damned anal in enforcing them?

I mean, everyone wants xtra and Norse back, they're just making our enjoyment of this site suffer substantially for no good reason other than to satisfy the demands of some arbitrary and poorly composed "Law", which they uphold religiously as if to masturbate their own ego .

Xtra was banned for no good reason other than he called someone a Jock sniffing ball licker...hardly even considered a flame in my book, and the mods used that as fodder to give him the boot? Come on, where's the justice! And we still haven't seen the evidence from wicked. She said she was going to get it for us, and then she tells us all to bugger off because she is forum goddess and we are the lowly scum.

Okay, Norse had a few racist comments and sexual harassment of a 13 year old girl online (not to mention creating multis to deal with his forum bannage), but banning Xtra for calling someone a Jock sniffing ball licker? Just goes beyond the pale, my freinds!

If anyone deserves to be freed it's gotta be xtratabasco!

Well, since Wicked locked the Xtratabasco thread in Flame Wars (of which it probably shouldn't have been placed there), I'd thought I would bring back his thread to discuss Xtra's private messaging/profile/speed games, etc. all of which have nothing to do with the forums.

And don't the mods think it's past time to let Xtra back in to play? It was such a bullshite reason to ban him...over some stupid name calling incident.

If anyone else flamed out of FW, they would have never got hit as hard as Xtra did.

Well, besides the forums, Xtra should be allowed his Inbox/PM ability/Speed Games/Profile access, etc...that should have nothing to do with a forum ban.

Permanent means permanent, not oh you can come back after a few months. He was given all the chances he's ever going to get. If he wants PM and Control Panel privileges, then he should contact the people at PHPbb, as it's their software that causes this problem. Lack is working on fixing the speed game issue.

If I were to just say "Pathetic" right now, would that be an offense to justify a ban? It is really hard to adjust, now that the moderators might be competent.
