Seeing him reminded me of the old days back when Spamalot had just surpassed this thread. I remember how I had despised him back than simply for being a part of that group let alone there so-called king. However, time has shown me that he is not the mindless spammer I once thought he was and I have even grown to respect him for his constant presence in these forums.*

I never believed I would ever become the next Mark Twain or Charles Dickenson, but the field of writing had seemed like such a marvelous occupation for one to take part in. I remember in 10th grade and how I used to write poems in class, most of them regarding school or football and how I used to pour my soul into every word. I never shared my works with other people prefering to keep more to myself back then but rather kept them sharing only to myself time and time again.
*Looking back on it those days seem long ago back in a distant sunset that representing an ending dream caught in the crossroads of uncertainty. I sometimes find myself looking back on those days wondering if I made the wrong decision and whether I should have persisted in making my dream a reality, yet other dreams have pushed me away from that life into a much different field. Maybe if I am lucky I will still find time to bring my visions to life in the form of a short story possibly even become recognized on a national scale for my writing abilities but until then, I must keep looking onward to the future.*
