That’s the second time one of this thread’s CIA Incident Containment Bots has tried to play this incident down by saying no one was hospitalised. It’s okay, guys, the dozens of children sprayed with jet fuel during recess only received minor injuries!

What a sad reflection on the state of present day America.

Isn’t that what the news report stated?

How do you not get this? No one in this thread has ever claimed people were hospitalised by this incident. My point is that 'no one was hospitalised' is a weird line of defence.

Next you'll be looking into the teachers who reported the incident trying to find out if any of them have connections to Russia.

The ‘defense’ is that it was an accident and someone maybe made a mistake.

Your post implies that there is some intentional plot to dump gas on kids.

Great Idea, Duk. I think I said that same thing in one of these two threads. Discussion of American Aircraft Manufacturer (Boeing) is all tied together in TWO separate threads started by a regular CC poster. Why NOT put it all into ONE thread?

Some (maybe only two posters?) apparently wants to blame Boeing for a fuel dump done during an emergency by an airplane (owned and operated by a DIFFERENT company) and found it necessary return to LAX. Two want to say the "Sky is Falling" when it's ONLY jet fuel dumped in an emergency landing during a take off of the same airplane. They want to again overstate the incident to make it look like a "Communist Plot" to blame Boeing for ALL this ills of American commercial flying and ALL the ills of the world, too.

I think it is out of jealousy, actually.

I have just discovered top secret stats demonstrating that Boeing reign of terror in fact goes back at least 30+ years!

Goranz wants to post a picture of someone "walking an airplane" Ridiculous. Worthless post; you missed the point, AGAIN, and failure by you, Goranz.

Again, two crashes do not a trend make. Two points to plot a line is very unreliable for examining and analyzing data. You failed there, too, Goranz. You failed to make cogent arguments; you use hyperbole, poor logic, poor data, and terrible tactics to conduct a presentation that is not a prima facie case. I count a 0-8 loss, based on my one post here. Again, you lose.

Debate over. You lost.

This post is totally ignored. I assume that the lives and deaths of millions of Chinese citizens do not deserve comment, based on the silence from CC''s biggest China supporter, mrswdk. Support is weak there, apparently.

Both these incidents are about the same level of concern, right?

AND you want to criticize the USA? You are an idiot; you are also a hypocrite. Keep on Leaping Forward, Maoist Frog Bot.

JP4Fun

The Great Leap Forward of the People's Republic of China (PRC) was an economic and social campaign by the Communist Party of China (CPC) from 1958 to 1962. Chairman Mao Zedong launched the campaign to transform the country from an agrarian economy into a communist society through the formation of People's communes. Mao decreed increased effort to multiply grain yields and industry should be brought to the countryside. Local officials were fearful of Anti-Rightist Campaigns and competed to fulfill or over-fulfill quotas based on Mao's exaggerated claims. They collected "surpluses" that in fact did not exist, leaving farmers to starve. Higher officials did not dare to report the economic disaster caused by these policies, and national officials blamed bad weather for the decline in food output and took little or no action. The Great Leap resulted in tens of millions of deaths.[1] A lower-end estimate is 18 million and upper estimates find that some 45 million people died.[2] About the same number of births were lost or postponed, making the Great Chinese Famine the largest in human history.[3]

Hearing no dissent, I have MERGED this with the other thread. Now we can get all our Boeing-hating info at a single location.

Why? The thread about the jet fuel being poured over schools was about something completely different. One was about how Boeing's clown planes keep falling out of the sky, the other was about how an American airline chose to spray school children with jet fuel.

Presumably you're now going to merge every thread about Trump into a Trump super thread. Ditto every thread about Iran, every thread hating on China etc.

I don't do a lot of merging. For these two threads, however, whilst they may putatively be about different subjects, I found them devolving to almost identical conversations in their later stages. I thought you'd all be happy that you don't have to type the same thing twice every day.

Two crashes don't make a trend yet ZERO out of 700 737 MAX are flying atm. Do you know if they will fly again?

Does this mean that according to you the old Boeing planes that dump fuel on schools are classified in the same category as the new that nosedive? I though that the new ones were worse, but ok you are the boss in here

Boeing Expects Troubled 737 MAX to Return to Flight During Mid-2020
But they were expecting that infamous 737 max would fly in July 2019, which was postponed to September and again to December the same year.
Will it fly again? I have no idea, I only know that Airbus is making record number of planes and both Russians and Chinese have their debuts for 2021.

I’m not changing goalposts.

My point has been clear and concise.

The point. is you’re a troll who likes to blow bad things out of proportion when they are perpetrated by the USA / “the West” / Americans....
but when China or a 3rd World Country does something clearly MUCH WORSE you gloss it over.

In this case you are taking an emergency landing, which resulted in a bad decision that caused harm (but not death)... and your trying to make it seem like it’s an intentional act to harm children.

I do not care enough to bother. If you want to ignore that point with a cursory, superficial, and dismissive comment, that shows how much you value Chinese lives. I do not have time for a massive search; your opinion is not worth the effort. I have never read comments by you or Duk on this point.

A "Million" posts by you? A little hyperbole, isn't it? By contrast, the # of lives (in the ACTUAL millions) killed by Mao is fact, not hyperbole. What an amazing contrast by juxtaposition. THAT is a FAILURE that ranks in the MILLIONS...!
