I'm sorry but please do not mess with Hotel California. That song is sacred. I'd tell you all the songs that are sacred and should NEVER be messed with but it's a long list and I don't have the time. Plus it should be common sense.

lol i love that song lol you make me laugh

Don't laugh I'm completely serious right now.

Well, you can check out any time you like.

Let's try again:

EPISODE 4

SO pausing only to gather together a suitable entourage to impress the folks of the hottest woman since the sun goddess went aloft (99 of his finest warriors), Lord Watchout accompanies Lady toward her home.

Now, if youda asked Watchout, heda told you that there was no direction you could ride from Arberth that he wouldn't know like the back of his hand.

Well, maybe her magic affected all their horses, and they all rode as fast as she had the previous two days;

Maybe he was hypnotised by her eyes, or her beauty, or her engrossing conversation (which was mainly about what a fine figure of a Lord he was, something we men all find endlessly entrancing);

Or maybe he was fooled by the unseasonal fogs and mists that regularly drifted across the landscape.

However it came about, after a very short while Watchout was in unfamiliar teritory.

He wondered what her home would be like. Given the glut of magic that had touched everything she said and did, he was prepared for anything - a great palace carved from a single emerald, a realm of talking animals, or any other kind of wonder.

Lord Watchout was not sure whether he was relieved or dissappointed to find a rich but apparently mundane mansion in a pleasant but unremarkable cantref.

Lady's return was greeted with joy by family, friends and servants alike. Lord Watchout and his men were checked out unmercifully by all and sundry - some boldly, some from behind lowered brows. On baloance, the assessment seemed to be favourable.

Her parents were engaging people, friendly and good-looking, seeming hardly old enough to be father and mother to such a beauty.

Everyone got on beautifully, and by the time Watchout left ("Your horses will know the way, my love") it had been agreed that the previous suitor was out on his ear and that Watchout was in.

He would return in exactly a year, which would give everyone time to prepare for the greatest wedding feast ever seen.

Continued in EPISODE 5

So the parents were easy enough to get. I wonder what's going to happen? Will she turn into a black widow and eat him? Will he meet his death in some other way? Is she really a dude?!?!?

A decent era. Filled with some pretty good bands such as Nirvana, Smashing Pumpkins, and Pearl Jam and some not-so great bands (to put it lightly) that I would rather not discuss.

I'd say more of the latter then the former in this case.

Unfortunately that statements a little too true.

That is a kick-ass solo. I heard it's going to be on Guitar Hero World Tour.

On another note. While I love Hotel California, I would have to say that my favorite song by The Eagles is actually "One of These Nights".

I saw Pearl Jam at Legion Field here in Athens in the Spring of 1992.
I saw the Smashing Pumpkins at the 40 Watt at the end of the Summer of 1992.
I was a big fan of both band's first CDs and wasn't about to miss those shows. They were both great.

The biggest concert I've been to so far was Van Halen (with David Lee Roth) earlier this year. Great concert and Eddy did a guitar solo that blew everybody's minds.

Cool 8-) I've always wanted to see Van Halen. I didn't get to see them this year and I was too young in 1984 when Dave originally left.
I made a list of some of my favorite concerts over the years. I saved most of my tickets.
1. Jimmy Page/Robert Plant - The Omni - Atlanta, GA March 1, 1995
2. The Who - Lakewood Amph - Atlanta, GA August 8, 1989
3. Fishbone/Primus - Georgia State Univ - Atlanta, GA Nov 27, 1991
4. R.E.M. - The Fox Theatre - Atlanta, GA Nov 27, 1987
5. The Smashing Pumpkins - 40 Watt Club - Athens, Ga August 8, 1992
6. Pearl Jam/Follow for Now - Legion Field - Athens, GA April 16, 1992
7. Lollapalooza (Jane's Addiction, Siouxsie and the Banshees, Living Colour, Nine Inch Nails, Ice-T with Body Count, The Butthole Surfers, Rollins Band) Lakewood Amph - Atlanta, GA August 18, 1991
8. Bob Dylan - Classic Center - Athens, GA Oct 28, 1997
9. Pink Floyd - Bobby Dodd Stadium - Atlanta, GA May 4, 1994
10. Rush/Primus - The Omni - Atlanta, GA March 4, 1992
11. U2 - Georgia Dome 7th row - Atlanta, GA Sep 25, 1992
12. The Allman Brothers Band - Macon City Auditorium - Macon, GA Dec 28,1991
13. Digable Planets - Georgia Theatre - Athens, GA May 25, 1993
14. Mötley Crüe/Guns N' Roses - The Omni - Atlanta, GA Nov 20, 1987
15. Outkast - Legion Field - Athens, GA April 18, 2001

Dang that's a good list. I would have to say that if there are three bands that I would like to see in concert, it would be Pink Floyd (if it included songs between their first album to The Wall), The Who and Led Zeppelin. The sad thing is I will probably not get to see any of these in concert.

Another good concert I went to was Alice In Chains. I had to leave early because I really hadn't been feeling well but I got to hear all the songs I came for, plus a few more that I liked.

:( I probably won't ever get to see any of those either :(

Although! At Lollapalloze every year here in Chicago tons of big bands come. Radiohead was here this year.

I've never really cared that much about seeing Radiohead in concert. Have nothing against the band just never really felt that much motivation to ever see them in concert.

IN the 90's I married the right person, and produced two very fine kids. Did a lot of other fine stuff too.

In 1991, I broke my forehead open after a guy shoved open a door into my face, still have the scars to prove it. The biggest one (I opened it up in 3 places, 2 left scars) would later get reopened during a game of tag. Apparently I was playing with a kid who was a lot bigger than me and when he tagged me he pushed a little too hard, I tripped over a tree branch and landed face first.

In 1992, my oldest sister went to middle school for the first time.
