I've picked up a copy of the Watchmen. On chapter 3 and it is awesome.

Did you go see Friday the 13 (2)?

Yes, targetman, it is the remake of the second one.

No but we went to dinner and every moment there was perfect. The waiter was great, the food was on time, cooked how we ordered it and delicious, we had the best, most fluid conversation. The whole thing was comfortable. After dinner I walked her home but we took the long way so we could talk. She laughed at my jokes, I laughed at hers neither laughs were forced. We got back to the dorms and she invited me in. We talked for a while and when everything was said and done we kissed. Not just a peck but a real kiss. And the whole date was just so good. I just wanted to run back down there.

I don't believe this from a person who waters down the 10 rating.

Just finished reading The Watchmen and all I can say is WOW! This comic is simply brilliant and a must read. I mean WOW! Mr. Veidt really did live up to his reputation as world's smartest man and the mystery of Dr. Manhattan. WOW! How can you restrain yourself from talking about this Jonesy? I mean I don't even have the word's to fully describe this. IT's just excellence.

Do you see now why I don't think you can compress it into a 90- 120 minute mo vie?

I don't think they'll try to. It'll have to be at least 2:30 if not 3hrs plus.
