In other news, the favourite thing I brought back from our Boston trip last week was a badge which says

"What if the HOkey Cokey really is what it's all about?"

Boston is a fine place - unfortunately it was v cold and v windy when we were there so whenever you were outdoors, you just longed to be back indoors - which, given it looks like a fine city to be a pedestrian in, was a huge shame. I passed through it once before, and deliverately gve myself a few hours for a wander, but it was v cold a v rainy that time. Someday I have to go there when it's plausible to walk about.

It's time for strike's graphic novel of the wek.

Today's graphic novel comes from the mind of Alan Moore. Yes that's right it's The Watchmen. From brilliant characters to brilliant plot this book is quite simply a masterpeice. READ IT NOW!

And did I mention that today is a threefer? yes that means it's time for strike's what will I do next? of the week

For this week, my next task is to find and read V for Vendetta.

And finally it's time for strike's movie scene of the week.

THis weeks scene comes from a movie no less legendary than the Godfather. Heck what am I saying? IT IS FROM THE GODFATHER! In this scene Michael Corleone, fresh from saving his father's life has joined a mafia boss and his corrupt police escort to eat at a fine diner, when michael goes up to the bathroom, grabs the hidden gun, comes back sits down for a moment, considerring the moral wrongs of what he is about to do. Hesitant for only a few seconds before firing a bullet right through the mafia boss's head, then turning and hesitating again, shoots the corrupt cop in the throat causing him to gurgle briefly before being shot through the head. Our "hero", Michael then drops the gun and makes his way out of the restaurant.

Incidentally the biggest dissappointment in Boston was the murder mystery dinner.
The kids enjoyed it, but then they've never done anything like it before.
The solution was completely arbitrary, and you were apparently supposed to deduce it based on a visual clue which for me was hidden behind a pillar.
I've attended loads of murder things before, and appeared in them, and even written them (I'm writing a small one right now), so when I say "this was crap", I'm talking with some authority.

I was slightly confused reading this. Though, why would you want to bankrupt the leading wall producer in the world?

Umm...Wolf/curl 12.

Well, I haven't been given the chance to do much yet. HOWEVER, if you look back at my time at high school, I, on top of defeating the invisible ninja monkeys, saved the school from financial ruin by coming up with a more economical bus route system, increased the quality of food that is served in our cafeteria and even tutored many many people in math and english. So you can see I am very good at balancing budget and am pro health and pro education.

Vote Wolf/curl 12.
