I agree there. I just googled it and the previous actor did that because he got a lead role as a younger version of statham in the next transporter movie. What a retard... GOT vs transporter movies??? That s a movie that will be on DVD directly, not sure another of these shit can get distributed.

Yeah, read that too. If I had to guess, he'd make more money as the lead in Transporter 4 than as like, the 30th most important character in GoT. Though, if there is a legitimate love interest between Daario and Daenerys, then he goes way up in importance.

regarding bran; his story line was pretty cool until he became a criple actuallly haha. I thought he would be the main protagonist initially when watching the first episodes.

The Hound is a complicated character. He can be evil or noble in any given situation. as far as sending Arya to her aunt. As far as the Hound knows it's a good idea. They are related so Lysa is as likely to take care of Arya as anyone else in the 7 kingdoms. The only other family she has left is Sansa in Kings Landing and he isn't going back there even if he didn't care about Arya at all or Jon at the wall and even if he safely crossed a thousand miles (I'm actually not sure on the distance) of Freys, Boltons and Greyjoys as well as anyone who might not like to see a Lannister dog running around, the wall is no place for a girl.

Winterfeld is burned down and no one lives there right now right?

Well i don t know, no way arya would agree to follow him there... Blackfish would be an awesome choice hehe, would be a great mentor.
Otherwise, the hound doesn t even have his next move plan, at least doesn t seem like it. Get a ransom from arya then? He became a total outcast..

Well GOT is hugely more popular worldwide than transporter movies. Terrible choice for his image. A show like GOT is far more prestigious and will remain longer in memories.
Seriously, how did they make so many transporter movies? The first one was just ok, doing a second was already ridiculous. It s from the same french guys that did the shit movie Taken. When I saw there was a Taken 2 I felt shame for liam neelson.

He probably chose the project that would end up giving him the most money (and his agent probably made the decision for him), whether directly or indirectly (maybe because he's doing Transporter 4 he thinks he'll get another job?). Seems pretty stupid to us but you can't argue that you would do the same.

And no idea. I guess for the same reason they keep making Fast and Furious movies? They fucking suck.

He was probably looking at the immediate pay out which is more at once but I think GOT would have paid more over time. I won't say what happens with him over time but he does stick around as a character for a while. Winterfell is burnt down and destroyed. It's out of the question simply because you can't get there without going by near the Freys or through the marshlands and unless your a Crannogman, the marshes are too dangerous. Assuming they had heard that Blackfish survived the Red Wedding (unlikely) they wouldn't know where to find him as he would probably be in hiding right now until he can form his army. So that leaves Lysa Arryn.

We talking about Nicholas Cage now? Seriously don't even mind the Fast and Furious franchise. It appeals to the audience it's designed for which are the high octane, street race enthusiasts so I don't have the right to complain about that. Still, I feel like anyone who walks away from a consistent (at least as consistent as they come in the GoT universe...hmmm...I wonder if it's actually better to be one of the characters who dies so people actually remember you) part in Game of Thrones for Transporter is making a career mistake.

I was thinking of something regarding this whole GOT story.
the bloodlines are something really important, and the story goes over a period of time long enough that makes us think of the desecendants of the actual characters for future geopolitics strategies and alliances.
I think it's rather funny to see how often JRR Martin uses the castration/penis cut off theme.
First there is the varys/baelish rivalry. We would agree that both cancelors are equally smart and good at politics. nevertheless; petyr has a sack and can have descendance, and can think of his bloodline. he can have this egocentric approach of power, while pretending to care about the kingdom. Varys truely cares about the kingdom, he is as high as he can get on the ladder and just wants to keep the same influence, while patyr has higher ambitions... because he thinks of his future bloodline in my opinion.
Other character: grey worm. while he makes this stupid bet with daario naharis; we all know that for him it's about loyalty while for daario it's about love/power/influence gain over the khaleesi. We can't think that grey worm could have an important role in the future... or we kind of see him as someone who will not betray because of "bloodline urges", only with a big disaproval of the khaleesi's decisions.
theon: belittled by his father and shown as unworthy to take his place, this is the biggest humiliation he could imagine. not only he was a big fan of the woman kind and the use of his penis... his one thing that could give the slightest value in the eyes of his father; the fact that he could perpetrate the greyjoy bloodline is now gone. But he is out of penis but still has his balls. ould some witchraft happen, and his semen could still be extracted with sex to impregnate some worthy woman? theon's story is pretty sad.

" If I hear anymore words come pouring out of your cunt mouth, I'm gonna have to eat every Fockin' chicken in this room" Best scene in the whole series so far!!

Haha..I love it!! I love Arya! I haven't read the books, but I'm telling you, everything up until now is just back story! The real story is just beginning. We are just starting to meet who Arya is going to be. Watch the f*ck out! I wish I could jump thru the tv. I would fight for Arya. Everything she has been thru, seeing her dad beheaded(didnt actually SEE it) Seeing her friend killed, seeing people tortured, arriving as her mother and brother died. She is turned to steel. Arya will be the punisher of westeros. Look at her mentors..her father, jon snow, syrio, Jaquen H'gar, the hound. Everywhere she goes she makes really strong allies. She is going to be a force, I only hope she doesn't go to far, but I think she will be for the good always.

She was already "The Ghost Of Harrenhal". Some might think it was Jaquen H'gar..but it was Arya's will.

One thing that kinda scares me...Arya Stark sounds a little too much like Joan of Arc. I hope Arya has a happier ending.

And the Red woman(Melisandre), looked into Arya's eyes and saw eyes of many colors, eyes that Arya will close forever.

When I see Arya, I see Ziva David, from NCIS....only younger.

which one was syrio already?

yeah, arya used to be one of my faves with tyrion, her storyline got boring but now it's getting interesting again. don't forget that even the great tywinn lanister ahs also been her mentor!! haha, that was a pretty funny moment.

from the flavour i get from what book readers are unintentionally revealing, if you got to put your coins on a stark, arya's the safest bet.

Yes, Syrio Forel, the first sword of Bravvos, her"dancing" instructor. I have had that discussion..is he dead? He isnt shown to be dead. GoT doesn't usually insinuate death..they tend to show it. Both he and Jahen H'gar are from Bravvos. H'gar was taken from a dungeon in King's Landing when he first appeared being shipped to the wall with the group Arya was with. It really probably is just a coincidence..but H'gar is a faceless man. I've considered the possibility but I Dont think so.

Seriously though Betiko, don't be talking shit about Maisie Williams (Arya), she is phenomenal and I will have to jump thru my screen to defend her honor. But, yep..Bran is definitely in those awkward teen years...lol.

I think it's implied that he's dead. Though, this is GoT where reincarnation happens all the time so I wouldn't be surprised if he comes back.

He wasn't a huge character though, so I don't see why he's that much of a deal if he is dead or not.

Yep, I agree he probably is dead. The guy he was fighting, one of the Kings Guard is still alive, he was in the last episode. Syrio only had a broken wooden sword to defend himself. He probably died buying Arya enough time to escape.

But....one of the last things he said to her to make her run was"what do you say to death...." which gives me a little hope that maybe he found a way out.

i googled him after this and i looked on a site that is kind of a GOT wiki, giving you info about each character till thte last book that came out. he appears only in GOT, the first book, but they say that it remains unclear if he survives or not, as JRR martin leaves an open door.. so this is something "the book people" can't answer.

George R.R. Martin has confirmed in the past that Syrio is dead. of course this doesn't mean much if he is actually a Faceless Man of Braavos because technically Jaqen is dead too.

is Daenerys' boner for freeing slaves in the books too?

It also satisfies her ego and gives her even more reasons to believe she deserves the iron throne more than anyone.

So is THE wedding in next episode you reckon?

Yes. The episode is titled "The Lion and The Rose", which has to mean the wedding (sigils of House Lannister and House Tyrell).

I hate Daenerys in the show. She comes across as whiny and entitled, and all of her decisions seem self-centred and self-serving. I'm not a fan of her in the books either, but at least her logic comes across more and I can understand her entitlement. Being able to read her thoughts in the books (which are obviously left out of the series) gives much more insight into her character.

pearljamrox2 wrote:Seriously though Betiko, don't be talking shit about Maisie Williams (Arya), she is phenomenal and I will have to jump thru my screen to defend her honor. But, yep..Bran is definitely in those awkward teen years...lol.

Am I really the only one that hates Arya Stark?

Again, none of her decision making processes are logical. She is outright vindictive - particularly in her hatred for The Hound. She despises the man for following the king's orders to bring back the butcher's boy (Micah). Yet she overlooks the fact that she killed a boy during her escape from King's Landing without a passing thought.

I do not trust someone that has a kill-list they recite every evening. She was only "friends" with Gendry and Hot Pie as long as they served her purpose, and instead of fully utilizing Jaqen H'gar or taking him up on his offer of basically continuing her training that she started with Syrio, she shunned him.
