Yeah I know but it is just depressing when an average team gets bought over by a billionaire and they suddenly become a world beater. It is like football is a play toy of the rich men at times.

Disappointed that Man City only scored once :( Nasri fannying about in the penalty box, just like Aguero, the weeners...

Newcastle should be a great match.

The Newcastle game is a real dilemma for me,I am a long time supporter of the Magpies, but desperate for Man U not to win the EPL.I can hope Man U lose their last two games, then it won't matter if Newcastle beat City...

Podolski to Arsenal this summer, great news. Need to sign a few more big players and then could maybe start to think about silverware.

Podolski = Awesome signing for Wenger. Finally he realised that his "Youth programme" doesn't quite work in the PL.

Cristiano missed a penalty kick at 11'. That shows that he still has the Champions semis in his mind.

I always thought players were retarded if they miss a penalty, after all it was their job and you have a huge net in front of you and all you have to do is kick hard and to one side... When I played I didn't kick too many penalties but I once missed one, it was after 120 minutes of game in quarter finals, man, after 120 minutes you are so fucking tired, that walking towards the goal to kick the penalty is hard... you'd think it would be the easiest thing in the world to ask your body for some strenght but you really wish it was all over, and dont care much if you fail. So I tried to kick it hard and blew it.

yeah and there are goalkeepers who spend a lot of time training to stop these kicks.. goalkeepers also see a lot of kicks on videos nowadays to learn tons of techniques.

OK, here's my problem. One minute in, Benayoun scores a great goal, 1-0 to the Arsenal. Great.

The next 10 minutes summarised Arsenal's season. Great going forward, awful at the back. Gibbs let Holt pull off him inside the box when Norwich came at us on the counter attack. The shot was slammed against Gibbs, so we were lucky not to be at 1-1. Then, a huge cross was pumped in, which Holt almost turned into a goal because Szczesny came and missed. Then we finally concede an average (at best) goal.

Does Wenger not know anything about defence? He's a master at getting his team to play football, pass, attack, etc. but can't seem to get us to defend properly on a day-to-day basis.

The thing with Arsenal's defense is that there's nobody who is that experienced - Sagna is the only person at Arsenal who made more than a 100 appearences for Arsenal which is 2-3 years, the rest - Koscielny, Gibbs, Mertesacker are all new dudes. Gibbs is young, Mertesacker and Koscielny have recently joined, well, last year. Vermaelen could be added to experience, but he's been injured and stuff.

I mean, they had beasty defenders a few years back. If you look at consistant top 4 teams - Liverpool have Carragher, Man Utd have Ferdinand and Vidic, Chelsea have Terry, Man City have money, Arsenal have ... Plus, Szcesny sucks as a keeper imho. Wenger should buy a decent keeper, now that he's got money from selling Fabregas, but no, he buys Podolski and is looking at Hazard... He's strengthening wrong positions imo, but what do I know...He's been a manager for ages, I'm just a fan.

You're right when you point out the biggest problem here: keepers.
English keepers are lnown to be the worst ones in Europe.
Instead of spending on other players he should buy a top goalie first;
besides there're way more affordable than a forward.

True...I mean, Wenger has decent keepers for next 5-8 years he could buy - Akinfeev, Adler, Lloris(doubt it though).

On another note - Carroll is a tit.

People say Joe Hart is awesome, personally, I think he's shite and Mancini should buy a better keeper. Yes, he's the best English keeper in sometime now, but he still sucks.
