They both made sure Maerjery didn't have to spend even one night with her little Caligula...

If I had a list of who I thought did it, I'd go:
1. The Starks (or another northern family allied with the Starks) - why did that guy (don't know/remember who he was) tell Sansa to leave if she wants to live?
2. The Martells - obviously because Oberyn wanted vengeance on the Lannisters
3. The Tyrells - because Joffrey was fucking crazy and they want to spare Margaery
Also, the whole "Tyrion gonna die" thing doesn't really hold water because I'd have to imagine Margaery, who now becomes Queen Regent, would release him, right?

The new king is Joffery's brother. Someone will have to be regent because he's so young, but do you really think that Cersi is going to let it be Margaery?

I'm not a huge fan of it. Nor do I really understand why she cares so much.
Her practically being her brother's slave might have had something to do with it.

Except, Cercei doesn't get to call the shots anymore than Joffery did. Tywin's the one who's in real control.

It's not a matter of what Cersei wants, it's what the law allows/what Tywin wants.
I didn't consider the whole marriage-consummation thing so ok, maybe Margaery won't become Queen Regent, but I wouldn't think that Tywin will allow Cersei back into control, right?

I kind of feel sorry for the actor, Jack Gleeson. I think it might be hard for him to live this role down. I know I wouldn't be able to see him as anything other than a cuntbag. Certainly wouldn't be able to take any other roles of his seriously.

You have to admit that it's a spectacular performance by him though. Fans hate him with an undying passion which is probably exactly what George RR Martin wanted.

Oh, sure, he's a great actor. He played the part perfectly. I just get the feeling it might be the death of his career, a la Mark Hammil with Star Wars.

but now it doesn't make much sense if it doesn't give her any power if she isn't considered queen regent?... did the tyrell miss that move? I doubt they could be so smart and stupid at the same time.
so that strange guy is taking sansa away? I'm pretty sure sansa will end up with baelish either way.
and the shae episode... i don't get it... it's all presented as if this was going to have an importance at some point... so if tyrion dies... she kind of becomes a moot character?
