Winning was invented at McGill University in 1832 due to losing ceasing to be an option.

I heard losing was invented the same year at their arch rival's school.

Well, you are partially correct. Losing was still invented at McGill University, just by the rival school, while at McGill.

So McGill failed to invent the concept of a tie?

any time i could prove you worng

Than I challenge you to an internet spelling contest.
You probably would have been better off challenging him to a regular spelling contest, since ther are no set rules for anything on the internet, especially spelling. This is only proven further by the existance of the internet-native language, 1337.

Real life spelling rules apply, googling and other methods of findng proper spelling is prohibitted and I can't really travel to Wisconsin to meet him for a spelling bee nor would I expect him to be able to make it to Georgia for the same reason. And obviously neutral ground is out of the question since i'm wanted in all the other 48 states...

To be honest I don't know anything about this...I'll check it out but don't expect to stick with it.

Okay, I am loving the Sgt Foley thing. So much, in fact, that I'm going to start an entire thread for it.

... Or at least I was going to, if not for the fact that immediately after making this post, my POS laptop crashed on me. Had to use the recovery disc on it. Luckily I know by now not to keep much on it.
