Yo, dude. Can you get viruses just from viewing the images? I need to know this. You didn't answer the question. Needless to say, I won't be going there anymore if you can. I haven't used that site to make images, so I'm hoping that's how you get the virus, not from just viewing the images.

I've had a recent spat of really, really nasty programs show up on my laptop, and I really don't want to extend that to my desktop. So please, let me know man. I might have to retire from the internet entirely, if this shit continues, cause it's starting to impact my work life.

I wasn't vewing any one specific image. I had just clicked on the "Sgt Foley" tag on the far right that brings up all the Sgt Foley images that have been created. My computer started to get a little laggy, but I didn't think much of it. After navigating through about 4 pages of images (and creating a couple of my own), my internet lagged out completely and antivirus software I never recalled installing was telling me that my system was infected. So i'm not sure if it's the images, the site itself, or what.

That "antivirus" software right there, that's the problem. Open up taskmgr, stop them running. then delete them. then install some real antivirus.

I know. I tried to open task manager and control panel as well to try and remove them, but the computer wouldn't open anything.

Well there's always the get another computer option.

Funny enoug htath anti-virus itself could have been a virus...

I'm assuming it was, and I tried to delete it, but like I said: It would not.

Sounds like a virus...acts like a virus...get rid of it quickly my friend.

Well in Mario you're the umm...star guy...in Super Smash Bros. you'd have to be either Pikachu or Jigglypuff.

Case and point tright there. Target, here's the deal. you aren't allowed to say anything even remotely negative about the Godfather until you've SEEN THE FUCKING MOVIE!

Actually that's the one point I agree with him on...George Lucas is a great producer and a good writer but his directing sucks and it shows in the acting.

no i do get it i understand them and most of the time i see the hidden messge long before everone else. like when i read books i have a great concept and i pride myself on analizing books, movies and other media. the only problem is with most movies i do not agree with there message

That's because the hidden message isn't just that things that go boom are cool.

And yet opinions are the main thing that love and hate are based on...cold hard facts have little to do with it and personality determines opinions.

I'm not arguing that point.

targetman377 wrote:god fathers on the other hand i have never seen my only opioin of it comes from all of thouse types of movies I HATE THEM

First of all,get the name right it's GODFATHER or THE GODFATHER, it's not god fathers. Secondly, the error in your judgement is that you assume it's just like those other movies without having ever seen a scene from it! It's like if I was to say I loved the Thin Red Line because it's a war movie even though I hadn't seen it (The Thin Red Line sucked by the way) or I hate The Departed (great movie) because it has Leonardo DiCaprio in it and he was in Titanic which I thought sucked (I did think it sucked by the way).

targetman377 wrote:this goes with vampire movie they are all dumb the concept of a vampire is just well dumb i hate flims with vampires as the major conflict there just dumb hince why i stoped watching them.

I would say that's true for about 90% of vampire movies...there are a couple of them that I think are good but none that i've seen that are great...as for Twilight...whoever created that deserves a long and painful death.

targetman377 wrote:and if people cant dont like my opioin i suggest you stop reading my opioin

I would agree except as much as I hate your opinions on movies, they do make good material to read and write about in this thread.

So tonight was interesting...I was originally planning to go to an outdoor event down here but I didn't bother checking out the forecast and woke up to the sight of rain. Well I've never been good about changing plans on short notice so instead I just spent most of the day relaxing. Later on I decided to go to one of the residential halls to play some pool in the club house. I ended up parking outside of a bar as there was no ther spaces available...As I was leaving I realized a very fun fact...rainy Saturdays after people have visited bars is actually quite interesting...outside of the bars were just some random girls (I think about 15) waiting for taxis in the rain. out of them 5 were wearing white shirts which had become quite translucent in the rain...out of those 5 only 2 were wearing bras and only 2 of the 3 not wearing bras one wasn't aware enough to realize she needed to cover her breasts...
