Now to install Ghadaffi as head of Al Queada since he may be out of a job soon.

@aog: they would not lie about this. bin laden still releases videos from time to time, and obama/the military wouldn't risk being exposed as liars.

@saxi: personally i'm hoping this will become a reason for the u.s. to scale down operations in the middle east, but i might be too optimistic.

With respect, I think this is just the oomph Obama needs to to keep the bombs falling on the heads of Libyan children, the day after he had 6 of them killed and people were starting to criticize. Now the critics will all be too busy singing the Star Spangled Banner and measuring their dicks to pay attention to the Maghreb.

No.

see: my post made in the same thread that you quoted for purposes of saying "No" even though clearly you are wrong.

There's a game called mastermind. OBL was inspired by this title (although he hated the fact that it was a Western game), and he thusly found himself to be the "mastermind" of Al-Queda.

The NOU argument won't work here, so let's keep it simple here:

Is Al-Queda kind of like a Middle Eastern quesadilla?

BBS is right.

OBL made a timeless organization that could outlive him. Obama/Bush killed 3,500 Pak children to get to OBL. They all have dozens of family members. Where before you had one terrorist you now have tens of thousands focusing on one thing and one thing only - the US. In order to safeguard itself the US will have to introduce the most draconian police state the world has ever known (which it's already well on its way to doing).

No. It's more like a buritto. Everyone knows that people in the Middle East like everything wrapped!

Get it? It's a joke about sexual inequality in those dang backwards-assed countries that don't believe in God!

I'm pretty sure the guv'ment controls whether or not the public sees the videos.

Anyway, if I see the body, I guess I'll be more likely to believe it.

No, the police state is taking shape from a nation attempting to hold itself together in the face of multicultural balkanization. The terrorist attacks were only a convenient excuse to accelerate the process, not the true cause.

Maybe there can be peace, but we are in a vicious cycle of retaliations bent on who did what and who started it and so much money and power on the line....I don't think human nature will ever change. We can only try to make it better or let it get worse.

Osama bin laden is dead, and the islamic fundamentalists have a new martyr. Yay for them.

Why didn't they catch him alive and bring him to trial, I wonder?

Something doesn't add up here.
