It`s been pointed out on ALL of the media outlets , most likely a deserter. Ironic how the Pres would save a traitor over a true veteran. Bergdahl should be put to death. To be fair, we don't know the exact details of Berghdahl's capture and what not. He's been article 32'd. So in time the truth will come out one way or another, then we'll have plenty of more to consider.

For those who might not know what an article 32 is, it the equivalent of a grand jury investigation in the civilian world. The circumstances of Bergdahl's departure from the base and capture and everything else will be investigated fully and if charges are warranted he'll be tried. Lots of ways that can play out, the most serious being a General Court Martial, but there are other avenues.

I can say with probable near certainty that Bergdahl, no matter what is found out in the investigation, won't be executed.

Actually, a president who makes going around Congress look normal is what has drifted further than anything. And I can tell you don't know much about the legislative branch granted you can't understand people who are in Congress were elected to be there. They have only drifted to where the people they represent are living. The House of Representatives is the best snap-shot of where America is, and right now 233 districts vote to the right, while barely over 200 vote to the left. And as the real Obama stands up and crip-walks through his lame duck term, Obama will swing the country to the right even farther than GW swung it to the left. The scary part is as president go further and further out of bounds, some day perhaps soon a president is going to grab that end pendulum ball, and they are not going to allow the country to swing back. I never said Democrats didn't pick up seats, and that doesn't change 233 districts are Republican and barely over 200 are Democrat. The bottom line is America is a center-right country, where Liberals make up about 18%.
