Guys, no one seems as well to think about under age members, there is for sure parents/uncle/friends who think it would be a cool think to check and thinking having family member to play against in a friendly spirit is maybe a fun things to do...well tell me how a parent/uncle/friend will do that knowing there is chance their kids to be unlucky to see all this crap we are seeing in the Forum? There is also adults who perhaps have a higher degree in their mind thinking this is not great and won't invest in it.

How does S&M and Spanking the Monkey insinuations weigh into this scenario? Is my very moniker not family friendly? What about EB Conqueror's signature of a dapper Tom physically abusing the buttox of the opposite sex? Is sexual exploitation of women cool for children to see? You think racism is bad, take a look at the blatant sexism abound. Should children have to bare witness to that or is that not relevant? I could go on and on about how this could never be a site completely safe for children. That my friend, falls on the gaurdian's shoulders. Don't sit on the fence if you are going to take moral high ground. It's very unbecoming.

So then, where does the line begin and end with you people? It's all personal bias to me. Also it's not our call to make. So try to see what's still good about the game we love and quit tearing at it's very fabric by condemning those who don't feel slighted by all of what CC has to offer. Even the dark icky places.

It's not all bad if you don't want it to be. It's a choice to view it in a negative light.

in my experience with young peoples on this site, they either A) show up in Global Chat w/a few of their school chums and say a bunch of stupid shit, which results in them catching a chat ban and leaving the site, never to return OR B) if they actually make it into a game, start saying a bunch of stupid shit in Game Chat because losing. although i can't be certain about this, i assume they simply quit the site because they didn't win right away. normally, i would try and offer them some pointers on how to improve their gameplay, but they said a bunch of stupid shit to me not moments before so, llama say : f*ck the kids. plus, kids ain't got no $$$ to pony up for premium.

First and foremost - Don't reintroduce Trash Can, I didn't see a whole lot of merit behind it other than the hotties thread. If that's the only redeeming quality of Trash Can, probably should just get rid of it and make another thread.

In case it's too much text here's the synopsis for anyone thinking tl;dr

Don't auto censor the trash and delete mild things without discussion. Explain why some name calling is not ok and how decent people should behave.

Several years ago here, a few of us had a discussion that started about a segment Katy Perry filmed for Seasame street, doing a parody of her hit song at the time. People flipped out because of her low cut top and the segment was cut from the show amid controversy.

I joked that her breasts were the best part of her and she should have done it topless.

I'm not one of those parents that takes the little ones to see Deadpool in theatres. Actually I'm the parent that talked to my kids about why their elementary school classmates probably should not have gone.

During the Katy Perry scandal debate, I did mention that children have different opinions about these things than adults.

There was a picture floating around here of Shela Hershy in a low cut top. Breasts were featured, though as we know the nipples were properly well covered as per the strict but fair forum rules. For research purposes I showed it to my pre-school aged son (target audience for Seasame street) and asked, "Hey buddy, what do you think about that?" His reply was fairly hillarious. "Holy man! She's like mister fat." Basically instead of seeing sexualized breasts and asking for some privacy, he thought there was something wrong with her and moved on in life, I don't think he was interested in Katy either. This is why beaches in Europe are topless and no one bats an eye.

A more real life thing that happened years later was, we were at a pretty regular store in Lahina, Maui called the ABC. It's a corner store with tourist stuff. They had condoms packaged to look like a Lolly Pop. My son who by then was about 8 wanted one. I said, "No you don't, it's not candy. It's for grown ups." Now both my children and their twin cousins wanted to know, "Why, what is it?" I answered, "You don't want to know." My son wanted a better explaination. I took him aside and explained it to him, "It not candy, it is a rubber bag, you put it on your penis to prevent pregnancy and spread of disease during sex." His reaction was, "I'm never having kids, even though I'm the one that pees in the girl." Then I had to explain that you don't pee, there is a thing called semen that carries the sperm... The next week featured the word "semen" a lot.

I took him aside for the explaination because I don't know if his slightly older cousins had been to Human Sexuality class yet. They are not my responsibility, though if they asked directly, I would have figured out a similar way to explain a condom to them. They asked my son about what he learned and he responded, "You don't want to know." They seemed satisfied and we carried on to the next places. I don't know for sure but I suspect their parents continued with their, "Put a latch on the cupboard with the cleaners in it." Technique of parenting. Don't tell them about sex. They can learn it from someone else. So far it has not been uncle dimes.

The point being that even though I'm not defending people being racist or other extreme douchebaggery. A- kids will find that and whatever other garbage you fear sometimes. B- if you are a decent uncle, parent, adult friend of their slutty mom etc. you will have occasional talks and answer their questions about things they need to learn about.

If you don't explain what's wrong with the things you think are wrong, the young folks might not recognize those things as wrong when they stumble on them.

That is my all point, there is no line...moderation is far from being consistent because those who are on charge have no clue what to do, how to do....despite suggestion made.

What does this is bringing? What is the value for Forum network other than bringing subject that could bring various opinion and firing angry divergence of opinion, or nasty joke....
Give one reason to learn something from a topic subject like this that I could use to start building a gaming network, tournament idea or anything that could improve the site itself?

This is all what I'm trying to defend because I feel the time/energy spend by those who post subject like this could use the same time & energy to bring something more constructive...Building a site/network takes all of us, not just a handful of colored name members...

Yes, Forum is an open space where we are all free to come up with stuff to create a discussion, bringing written activity, sharing point of views, however I wish we could have a moderation that limit the kind of subject that can be allow to discuss.

(I can already hear those who will scream about the freedom of speech, but this is not what I'm trying to say so don't even go there please)

I have read a post where HitRed wrote "Family friendly" environment, that is what is all about, building a Forum space that will create a good network of members who can share things that does not risk to piss of others who thing it's inappropriate...and the funny part is that we have this space already...So the whole thing is being strong enough and standing against subjects that could hurt someone else...It is all about putting yourself in the audience shoes coming from everywhere in the world and how will they take some subject you think it's funny but for others it is actually not funny.

To add about my prior post talking about under age members, the above would perhaps help some to grow learning something, such as, there is place on internet where you can't just do/say what you want...basically teaching them here is not the right site to behave like this...If they don't like then their behavior will become the problem of a different website owner but at least we are holding a certain etiquette and standard into conquerclub.com

Also, I don't think a phone app will help. I have a huge monitor running 4k resolution and I can't fit even the small edition of First Nations Americas on the screen. If the game doesn't even work on a computer, how do you think it will work on a phone?

When your engine light comes on it lets you know there is an issue. Is it major or minor? Using a code reader you can diagnose and pinpoint the problem. The foe button doesn't let management know there is an problem at all. The result can be a loss of members and income. It's best to know why foeing is happening. Businesses should want to know if playing members are having an issue.

How old is the foe button anyway? Maybe we could correlate the decline in membership from 17,000 in 2010 to 5,493 in 2018. Lol
