Notice @ 2:26 of the video how the female zombie looks orgasmic as she stuffs her face with Glenn's intestines that are probably filled with the remnants of Carol's Miracle Tuna Pea Casserole.

If they wanted to put him in a sire situation... they should let him survive that episode.

To present this scene and let him live will be BS.

If he's not dead, I may walk from the show.

It is kind of true about Daryl. His character development seems to have taken a back seat ever since Beth died.

I missed this part. First why didn't they have guns? When Morgan met that wolf last season he had a gun so why did none of them have guns? This will feed back into my later theory. As to why they didn't take over the facility. From what I can see that's not what they want. The Wolves seem to believe that no one is meant to be in such a facility. One of them said something like "You don't belong here any more" before Carol blew his brains out. My theory is that they believe that in this new world, everyone should prove themselves by surviving outside of city walls and they only attack facilities for supplies and to fuel their traps which are possibly there designed to test who is worthy of being considered a Wolf. Now as to why they did not have guns and why the attack seemed small scale. Other than going into that theory that they indeed were not trying to take it over, I believe this was something of a test run. Whoever the pack leader is behind these Wolves (Negan?), was not all out assaulting Alexandria. He or she was testing it for weak points. Remember while all the other Wolves were inside running around gutting and chopping people up, there was at least one person outside the wall throwing Molotovs and ramming zombie driven trucks into the wall that we never saw. I think this feeds into why they did not have guns. Guns while relatively common are probably still considered precious resources to the Wolves and you don't arm people that are meant to die with precious resources. You horde those for the true assault. It would also explain who they sent (their weaklings perhaps?) Look at that one guy who was there. It was the same Wolf who Morgan beat the crap out of last season. I believe each and every one of those sent in (not including Enid if she really is a Wolf since she was not part of the assault) were among their most expendable.

It seems the roles have switched. Daryl no longer seems to have any drive towards his character, and Carol (the weak lady that Daryl always had to save) now has the most potential as a kick-ass member of the group. She lead in the prison (against Rick's wishes...when Rick finally came around from his crazy Laurie hallucinations), got banished by Rick for doing HIS job, storm Terminus and saved Rick and the group from becoming slaughtered, and then took control of Alexandria when it was ambushed by the Wolves all the while Rick and company was busy herding 20 thousand walkers away from the fort. Carol is by far the most developed and matured character of the group.

I often wonder what it would be like with Shane in charge yet. I miss Shane...I would have joined his group over Rick's (except that I hated Laurie's skanky ass!)

Shane was a psycho he would probably have them acting like the wolves or worse.

j/k, actually, if you read the book, you would know they were eating the other guy who fell on top of him and that Glenn fells directly on an uncovered manhole and survives in the sewers hurt but not bit.

I don't recall that from the Trades. Did it just happen or are you joking?

Even if it happened in the books, we know that the show doesn't mirror the books exactly, so it's not guaranteed.

At first I thought Glenn was under the other dude too... and he was going to crawl away under a few Walkers, and then be able to escape. After a few seconds though it seemed like that was less likely to be true. Why would he be screaming like that, if that wasn't his guts being eaten.

I wouldn't mind if they let Glenn get away right at that moment. It kinda would've been cool.

Now, if they say he escaped, I'd almost wanna call "bullshit" on the whole thing. He died. If the producers / show runners looked at feedback last night, and changed their minds, I'd think it's a cop-out. Don't get me wrong, I love Glenn, he was one of my favorite characters... but you can't always get away. Some people have to die.

Well I guess it's not a surprise but it does appear that several people were right that they had Glen's death/not death scene be ambiguous to keep tension for when Maggie went out to find him.

Wasn't the rest of the group who was with Glenn just one their way to find him? or had the decided to make a run for it for their own sake abandoning Glenn? I don't recall but I know they were going somewhere

They were trying to get back to Alexandria ahead of the herd. I can't recall if they decided to turn back from heading their to look for him at the end precisely but I don't think they did.

It would be a shame if they have Glen survive through some bullshit as the writing this year so far has really stepped up so far.

I am pretty sure that we will see Glenn again. Either he will be going dead and hallucinating or he will survive. The question is if he will survive or just hallucinate out like Tyrese did.

Maggie probably will go looking for him, but the question is will she find him as a zombie, or bitten, or alive.

And in regards to Morgan's last episode...I am interested in how his "Aikido" philosophy will hold up. I want to like Morgan, but in the past episode I thought he was a threat to the group and Alexandria because he wants to save everyone...those who are perceived as being good or evil...it doesn't matter.

The last episode explained a lot behind Morgan's philosophy.

It will be interesting to see how his current philosophy will hold up under present conditions and I do agree right now he poses a threat. Another potential problem, if he starts killing again will he be more stable killing only when necessary like the group early on or will he start "clearing" again in a modified way.

I suspect the next week ot couple weeks will probably be flashback heavy focusing on Glen between the season 5 finale and the season 6 premiere. Probably focusing on his relationship with maggie.

The "W" kid that Morgan's got locked up is not boding well with me. Does the rest of the group know that he has a "W" guy? I think not. Morgan is going to try to get through to that kid, and that kid explicitly stated that he was going to kill Morgan and everyone in town (including the children). If that guy escapes and kills people, Morgan will be held accountable.

I am not particular on Morgan's story...but I'll deal with it.

I was more interested on what happened to Glen rather than watch Morgan running around in the forest and learning martial arts from a cheese making martial artist ex-psychiatrist.

That last episode was B.S. The episode itself was okay, I'm just sick of getting a lot of forward momentum in the story and then suddenly have it interrupted with an extended flashback that takes an entire episode. It reminded me of the one episode that was just Beth and Daryl redneckin' it at a cabin.

At least Morgan didn't sing.

Glenn better be fucking dead. Not that I have much respect for any realistic suspension of disbelief in this show to begin with but I think having him live would break what little is left. Also I knew Maggie would be pregnant.

Finally the relations hips starting this episode. Designed to contrast the seeming end of TWD's signature couple? Rick and Jessie as well as Carl and Enid not surprusing. I feel like I shouldn't have been surprised by Tara and the doctor but I was just a little when I saw themy start to push it when Maggie came in to check on her. Perhaps it's just because she was only in one episode that I remember seeing her before this.

i'm really disappointed ( as has already been stated ) in the fact that we've had a really nice chain of events going on, then they spend 90 minutes showing morgan locked in a cell. i'm fine with them telling how he got one with nature and all, but 90 minutes. geesh give me a break. 10 minutes tops was all that was needed there. i mean they didn't even save the zen master. why was his story with the kid and the prisoner so damn important.

if they didn't want to elaborate on glenn, why couldn't they just make some shit up like daryl, sasha, and the marine ran into a stash of food or something and had to form a plan on how to get it while still driving the zombies away. or a second wave of attacks at the camp. this is feeling like last season all over again.

i may be overreacting a bit, so far it's been a really good season. i'm just a little peaved about the wasted 90 minute episode that could have been saved for a whole bunch of better content. like say the episode when maggie goes looking for glenn, or they find the wolves camp, or the zombies break the wall down.... something with a bit of excitement.

i thought i would like morgan coming back last season, but so far been quite the drag. was hoping he would be a useful member of the group, but now it looks like he's just going to throw monkey wrenches around and get folks killed.

Last night's episode opened with about 5 minutes of excitement and then there was this weird plot twist where all the straights turn gay and all the gays turn straight. The gay LL Bean model is hitting on Maggie now that Glenn is outta the picture, and the psychiatrist is going at it with the lesbian out of nowhere. At one point I thought Carl and his friend were gonna start making out. They still might.

They did sort of forget that guy had a boyfriend... I read it more as his own guilt than hitting on hdr. In hindsight it is kind of strange that Maggie was ready to give up on Glen after half an episode when she spent most of the second half of season 4 looking for him.

I suspect everyone in Alexandria eventually will just get naked and f*ck...kind of like the peaceful Bonobos. I mean,"Hey, Maggie. You want back in the gate? Let's f*ck!" or "Hey, Daryl. Bro, good going with bashing twenty Walker's heads in today with a sign post! Good job on keeping the group safe. Let's f*ck!"

That guy's BF is way too fem for him anyway. I'm hoping he turns straight and gets together with Maggie, because they'd make an attractive couple. Dunno what they'll do with Glenn's baby. Guess they could always chuck it over the wall.

You know, the funny thing is, I don't know the names of half these people. If I saw them I'd be like "oh yeah, that guy," but the core cast has grown so fucking huge that even named characters may only get like 10 minutes screen time every couple episodes. This is basically the Rick Grimes Variety Hour.
