Though I like Willy Wonka, I much prefer this Gene Wilder.

Igor: Dr. Frankenstein?
Fredrick: Fronkensteen.
Igor: You're putting me on.
Fredrick: No. It's pronounced Fronkensteen.
Igor: Do you also say Froderick?
Fredrick: No. It's Fredrick.
Igor: But why isn't it Froderick Fronkensteen?
Fredrick: It isn't, it's Fredrick Fronkensteen.
Igor: I see.
Fredrick: You must be Igor.
Igor: No. It's pronounced Eye-gor.
Fredrick: But they told me it was Igor.
Igor: Well they were wrong then, weren't they?

The only Wilder film I've seen is Willy Wonka, but it's one of my top 10 all time films. The writing is so brilliant.

Gotta love Wilder. I think his bit part in Bonny and Clyde is one of my favorites.

I remember reading his auto-biography some years ago. It was pretty short, but still interesting and worth the quick-read.

Here's a friend's band. Metal/Dark rock. My friend is the drummer. Just want to know what you guys think about it.

Drumming for Metal is ALWAYS good, so of course I like that. The singing...ugh...it's pretty bad. And the guitar was bad too. You can tell they're pretty amateur, but, hey, it's better than what I can do.

Yeah, the singing kind of kills it, I'll agree with you there.

I hate that screamo crap. The good metal singing is Dethklok or Pantera.

People who think Metallica was a sell-out with that song. Personally, I love it, but I know people who groan and are like "I hate that song. They're sell-outs". No, they become sell-outs during St. Anger.

Always a good song. And one of the few metal bands that actually has a lead singer that can actually sing.

Army of GOD wrote:I hate that screamo crap. The good metal singing is Dethklok or Pantera.
Not a fan of screamo myself. And not too much into Metal outside of the 80s/ealry 90s.
