Two Flocks -- W. H. Davies (1911)

Where are you going now, white sheep,
Walking the green hill-side;
To join the whiter flock on top,
And share their pride?

Stay where you are, silly sheep:
When you arrive up there,
You'll find that whiter flock on top:
Clouds in the air!

**Munches on a cloudy-banana** I love W.H. Davies.

a comment by a bear of little brain...

How sweet to be a cloud
Floating in the blue!
Every little cloud
Always sings aloud.

How sweet to be a cloud
Floating in the Blue!
It makes him very proud
To be a little cloud.

There was a great musical version of this by hippy band "United States of America" but it seems to have been forgotten in all references to the band...

Wednesday muddy Wednesday. I believe was the original title of the U2 song Sunday Bloody Sunday. They changed it when they realized singing about a horrible event would garner more attention then talking about ones dirty foot apparel.
