I had to shake my head at some of the choices made. Also, Spinwizard's original role of Cryogeneticist did not become a doctor until he either successfully reanimated someone or the ship reached the planet and his equipment gets detroyed with the planet. He asked so many questions about the role and still couldn't get it right. Here is the Role PM I gave him:

spinwizard: You are the Cryogeneticist. You are one of the few members of Star Command that has an understanding of this new technology. Upon the death of a player, you may choose to PM me to place his body in cryostasis. That player has a 20% cumulative chance per day of being resurrected and placed back in the game. After one person is resurrected the cryogenic equipment malfunctions and becomes useless. After the cryogenic equipment malfunctions, you become a standard medical doctor. I will PM you the details of the doctor if you become one. You are not allowed to communicate with any of the other players outside the thread.

Win condition: You win when all Saboteurs are dead.

Now what was so hard about understanding that?

Mafia could indeed have won it, but Colaalone messed up one night and told me to block wicked a 2nd night when he meant to block someone else. I had to take his first choice. Otherwise Saboteurs could have killed again and town would have been struggling to find the last 2 mafia. That was the pivotal point in this game.

Definitely. And when cowboys killed Spin (who hadn't even posted in days) instead of Cola, that sealed the victory for the town.

BTW, I loved being recruited AFTER I had proven my allegiance... lol. That does certainly make me want to question the night reads more from here on out though! lol

So do I get 1/2 a win since my original WC was met?

Thanks Auto!! This game certainly proved challenging for not only the players, but for you too. 8)

Yup, and pretty soon I will be modding the most challenging game of my life. I will be opening sign ups just for those players that are considered weak players on CC. This game will be a chance for one or more of them to redeem themselves through great game play to the eyes of all good CC Mafia Players.

Look for the sign up thread soon...

I'm telling all of you guys this now. I will never make a mafia/townie mason pair. I believe it is an unfair role. I think mafia should be based more on logically finding the bad guys through posting rather than having all the best thought out arguments go out the window due to a crap role.

i suspected that as the role is un-ethical but it was still a posibility...

Booooooo to the town.

Too bad... it looked like cowboys was gonna pull it off. But endgames can be tricksy. Oh well.

Thanks again, auto. 'Twas indeed a herculean undertaking.

Just out of idle curiosity, was there a reason in particular that you investigated me back on the ship?

Remember way back at the negnning when I said you seemed a bit to eager to help the town, and it made me suspect veryu remotely that you were scum?

After I'd gone through the suspectys, I thought about it, and figured it would be as good a shot as any. And sure enough...

Hmmmmm... interesting. I can dig that. Besides, I was replaceable. If you'd investigated cowboys, the saboteurs would've been hosed.

It's funny you say that. Sometimes when I can't decide which one of the several scummy suspects to investigate I will just pick someone kind of helpful, but at the same time not making a big noise. I've gotten lucky twice in a row one game like that before.
