i believe fwiw that ive played 3 games with him, and in one of those games was a scum partner with him and watched the rest of the thread closely as he nearly won the game singlehandedly after i was eliminated by a genius vig


Honestly if we dont get him him now, i probably dont die tommorow, but i die the day after that. I might die the day after tommorow anyway just for causing a ruckus, but the fact that aimless went from being helpful, to sitting and watching me post in the thread while browsing the forum for the last 30 minutes, is also somewhat fairly telling.

If hes not scum i die tommorow, Fircoal may not have seen it but i did the exact same thing when puff was scum in the colony rescue thread. If we cant vouch for aimless in metagamming, this is the way i play.

jnd there was no talks about me before i started push on aimless, all their was in fact was wickeds humble suspicion and then aimless saying something incredible non scummish, and then i made my push.

I've been browsing the forum, and quite specifically this thread, because I find your arguments interesting. I haven't responded because I don't think there's anything here to respond to. What am I going to say? "I'm not scum?" I'm not, but in a game like this those words are absolutely meaningless.

So, what I've been doing is sitting here reading the thread, trying to find scumtells. Apparently, the case against me is that I haven't said anything substantively pro-town; I'm trying to change that. But, like I said, what I really want at the moment is more data to work with. It's hard to get that data if I sit here responding to your accusations, so I've been letting you hash it out with everyone else in the hopes someone will make a slip-up.

Not that I don't understand your argument, got tonkaed. I do, and I'm almost positive you're town because of it (I doubt a scum would go through the effort to come up with an argument like this). But it's a trap; it's based upon a metagame analysis of my play style, so, right or wrong, there's no valid answer I can give to it. I can try to change my play style, but that would lead to claims that I'm scum, because I obviously changed what I was doing in order to avoid the accusation.

Since there's nothing I can say to the argument, I'm trying to come up with a way to change the subject, by hopefully finding a real scum. If I could pull that off at will in half an hour, I'd never lose a game.

I know why you wouldnt respond to anything that i had argued, as youve said there isnt anything really for you to respond to. In many cases i would have just sat around and waited until a casual moment, but frankly you are craftier than most of the scum players that ive come across, so with you a certain amount of bludging with a stick is required. I know that your scum. Ive basically made an argumentless claim that you are scum. At the same time theres no reason for me not to do without you knowing (wifom)

I basically said by being pro town you were scum, and though i suppose many would think that unreasonable, you begin to try and redistance yourself in your last post. Yes of course you want to get information, everyone on both sides wants to get information and its such an obvious claim that no one could stand against it. I thought you might produce the jnd line, but i suppose you realized i would hit you for changing focus so instead you went to a try and reassure some level of credibility as just a non descript player. Normally i would buy it.

Its hard to know who will make a slip up, especially when im going to take such a hardline stance against you. Nothing in this day will stop me from continuing on this line. If anything we will only find out more about who is aligned with you by the way they try to defend you if we keep getting momentum against you.

no i didnt just wake up today and decide it was lynch aimless day. And i know you that you cant just follow me blindly, like you couldnt just follow me blindly when i first laid the case out against puff in the colony thread. And that had a fair amount of evidence behind it. So i dont actually expect you to just hop on a bandwagon for a bunch of evidence that isnt there.

Lets put it this way, if you go back and read every post i have made today and its not clear why i know that aimless is scum more than anyone else knows anyone else is scummy, then ill go out there and spell it out for everyone.

Well, the good news is that we've gotten rid of some deadwood. The bad news is, we've lost two power roles, and haven't learned much.

So, for now, I'm going to treat this as if it were day one all over again. The town is at a bit of a disadvantage, but I can't think of a good way to sift through this mess of data to find any suspects. Thus, time to start making a new voting record.

XenHu, why aren't you scum?

Although Xen posted a pretty good amount, a lot of it has been short. When he voted sheep he did it without any stated reason. He only said "Vote Sheep." On the topic of Hitman should roleclaim on Day 2 he said "If I don't hear from him soon, he gets my vote." Then he disappeared.

We all knew Sheep needed to die. I didn't need to add fuel to the fire by putting in my two cents. Just lynch him and get on with it.


Same with Hitman.

And I haven't disappeared. I've just been busy.

It seems odd to me that tonka would stick his neck out like he has for no reason. He would know that if he was wrong he would be next on the chopping block.

Because of that I am leaning toward voting for Aimless. If he doesn't have a convincing argument of why he isn't scum he'll get my vote.

It does seem strange to me that xenhu has hardly been posting at all. In every other game I've been in with him he is always running off at the mouth and getting himself lynched.

We have also yet to hear from Colaalone, unriggable, and AEGNOR(replacement but I would like to hear what you have to say)

And a couple of people have said something but nothing of real value ie syzgy, I got served (those are the ones that stood out to me)

I believe Xen has been slightly less actve lately, as he's having some problems at the moment. He's not posting as much in clan either (which I wouldn't ind so much if it didn't mean the scoreboard didn't reflect the fact that me and flashleg are kicking arse at doubles ).

Far be it from me to defend him if he is scum, but I don't think he's intentionally submarining.

joking aside, xen you havent really posted much of substance lately, which runs a bit contrary to what i remember. I know mando wants to hear some of your thoughts and apparently upon hearing your ideas hes prepared to voice his suspicions so if you could perhaps add some of your insights we get a 2 for one deal out of it.

And moz is right, theres no reason for me to go after Aimless without a reason, which is as much of a reason as i should probably need all things considered. He should be our lynch today.

I've combed through the game up until this point, and nothing really jumps out at me except this:

I'd say that the scummiest is hitman, mostly because he should know what he's doing by now.

That was after three or four votes had been cast on IGS. Those who voted for him took his word for it (understandably so) and left him alone. Since then, we haven’t heard from him. So either A: He’s truly busy, which is a possibility, as I haven’t see much of him anywhere else or B: He tried to throw us off and has since submarined.

I’d like to hear from him.
