Also, the Spurs/Thunder series is such a toss in my opinion. I think the veteran Spurs will pull out the win though.

Celtics v Spurs in the finals would be a nice final hurrah for all those fucking oldheads

I don't think I'd even watch this series in the finals. I'd just give up on the season, ha.

I would watch it whoever is in it, but OKC/Miami is definitely the sexiest match up.

No way... KD is a little too alien looking, Bosh is a retarded raptor (is it bannable to call someone retarded? for me it probably is but we'll just wait and see), and James is a little to throbby. I like the lighter skinned black people anyway, so Pierce and Allen are sexier, IMO. Plus there's a Frenchman on the spurs, who is probably the best lovemaker (no need to argue, as one of his teammates wives can attest to that), and then there's Matt fucking Boner, with the best porn name in basketball.

yeah, the spurs have the most latin flair on their team too, with manu BATTMAN ginobili and Thiago Splitter. Sex appeal of spurs in the finals +1

ugh, Wade with a giant game. 20 second quarter points...seemed like everything he threw up went in.

I feel like whoever wins the Philly/Boston series is going to struggle against the Heat.

I feel Boston will give Miami a tougher series,
but don't expect the Heat to be challenged
until the NBA Finals.

Spurs over Thunder in 6. I think the Spurs are just too deep and too experienced than the Thunder. The Thunder, especially Westbrook, just get in lulls where they fire up jumpshots like the Heat did against the Mavs in last year's finals while the Spurs offense is incredibly efficient, especially with Manu and Duncan on the floor.

And I also have the Heat over the Celtics in 5. The Heat beat the Celtics last year in 5. I'm not terribly worried about Bosh being out because the Celtics aren't a high scoring team really and Haslem should be able to guard Garnett well. I think Rondo will have to average a triple double for the Celtics to have a chance.

This post is pretty much right on the mark of how I think both contests will go down. The only thing I'd disagree with is that Rondo will have to average a triple double (plenty of players on that team seem to step up), and that I think the East series will probably go 6 games. If things get physical, I'm wondering how much crap Garnett will start, only to wait for the refs and other players to jump in between...guy seems to have a habit of backing down when it gets rough.

I don't know about other players being able to step up. I think Lebron should do a great job on Pierce mostly because he's a hell of a lot younger and the Celtics don't really have length which is the Heat's biggest weakness. Also, Bradley going down is a huge loss for the Celtics because Allen is really struggling from the field and I think Bradley could really do a number on Wade.

Wow. Spurs are absolutely rolling. I really hope the Thunder can at least challegen them so they don't get a lot of time off assuming the Heat/Celtics series goes 6 or 7.

A 20 point margin for the Thunder at home,
while the Celtics have already mailed it in.

Thunder just outplayed the Spurs. I'm not sure if they can keep it up though.

I think they can, longer the series goes the more it is in favor of OKC. Luckily for the spurs they don't have to play any back to back games in this series as that would be an advantage for the thunder.

It is tough to win 4 out of 5 after going down 2-0. But I like watching the Thunder play, they are a lot of fun!

The Thunder are lucky Duncan's only shooting around 30%. Well, maybe that's more Perkins' defense than luck, but still. If he gets going then they're in trouble.

Bad game for the Heat yesterday. LeBron started off strong, tailed off a little, then shot well at the end. Too bad he was the only one shooting well. We have to figure out a way to stop Rondo...he's too good.

And the Thunder tie it up against the Spurs. I wasn't confident about the Thunder after going down 2-0, but now I think they'll win game 5.

ugh. If we didn't let Boston get 61 in the first half we wouldn't have to hope Wade drains that three at the end of OT.

I fucking hate Paul Pierce.

I like Garnet, I like Rondo, I love Allen. I fucking hate Pierce.

Everything he does pisses me off. That stupid face he makes when a call doesn't go his way makes me want to cut my own dick off. He can get tapped by fly and he's flail his arms around and jump as if he got punched by Superman and Thor at the same time.

That being said, the Celtics big 3 is a lot different than the Heat big 3. The intrinsic problem with the Heat big 3 is that Lebron and Wade are essentially the same player...they're playmakers who need the ball. The Celtics big 3 have Rondo, who is their playmaker while all Allen, Garnett and Pierce have to do is get open. Wade and James are both average jumpshooters (especially behind the three point line) while Allen and Pierce are consistent across the floor.

Bosh and Garnett are pretty much the same player though.

Except one is an all-time great (debatable, but KG is definitely above above average, he carried that twolves team before the idea of NBA super PACs), and the other has a parody twitter called "emo chris bosh" because he's a little bitch.
