I second Love and Death, but Sleeper was funnier.

I'm just going to have to agree with the original assertion of Dr. Stranglove.

My honorable mentions would be:

Raising Arizona and Pee Wee's Big Adventure

Let's nominate Anchorman, shall we?

And I'll second the Blues Brothers.

For laffs though, woody's best is Bullets over Broadway. Not his greatest movie by a long stretch but his funniest, in my humble motherfucking opinion

id rather watch a bill murray, rodney dangerfield, or eddie murphy movie than anything on the original poster's list.

Stripes, Meatballs, Caddyshack, Ghostbusters, What about Bob, Groundhog's Day, Easy Money, Back to School, Beverly's Hills Cops I and II, Trading Places, 48 hours,

and I like Dumb and Dumber

any of the above are far funnier than the original list

If I have to choose in the op's list I nominate Doctor Strangelove.

But I think M*A*S*H is better.

Alright, got 10 nominations; thus, commence the voting.

I voted for Strangelove, Holy Grail and Lebowski, though, if it were up to me, I'd replace Lebowski with either Caddyshack, the Naked Gun or Austin Powers.

yea, I stopped watching it within the first like 20 minutes. It was pretty awful (compared to the book, that is).
