Is anyone else tired of STORIES OF RESILIENCE?

For once I'd like there to be a disaster where the human spirit doesn't overcome tragedy, for every tale of heartache there aren't two tales of resilience and where the clouds of disaster don't carry with them the promise of a new beginning.

I'd like there to be a disaster where people conduct themselves shamefully and in panicked hysteria like little girls or cannibals.

Don't worry, your wish will come true. Another Nor'Easter is going to hit the same area tomorrow.

And really if you want other stories they are out there. Did you know after they cancelled the marathon they shipped the generators to a storage lot in NJ?

Or how about when the Homeland Security Nazi said "the FEMA trucks are here," and then left ... along with the FEMA trucks.

Or the person in a costume holding up people at a gas station long line by knifepoint?

Or the people stealing gas from the cars parked at the tain station; if they can't open the lid they just punch a hole in your tank.

I take back what I said, I've never seen a storm like that here. My mother tells stories of how in the past she saw in a couple of ocasions houses to go with the sea, (literally, she says people pointed and said "there goes mrs. lastnname's house!, there goes mr. lastname's house"). But I've never seen anything that bad.

Okay. For tornadoes, think a hurricane, but tightly compacted, and will shred through everything in it's path.
