That was a fun read ;o) AND....that video is freaking hilarious I have seen that before.....the SEVENTH gun is a Ruger Old #1 .458 magnum.....my brother has one and we have tortured many friends (including my 76 yr old dad) with it....lmao. I had a buddy from West Virginia who would do that with a 45-70 rifle. He would load his own ammo, light loads for him and have hot loads where the brass was bulging with powder for city boys. Shoulders would be bruised, Fall City Beer would be drunk, farm animals would be molested . . . good times.

I couldnt bring myself to whimp out like that, and if I am not doing the reloading (we only reload shotgun shells for clays) then I dont trust the cartridge ;o) On my first shot (at a 20 lb sack of potatos) I dmn near dropped it like the pilgrims in that video, but didnt. Ever since it has been easy....it just hurts. My old dad DID drop it.....we got a good laugh out of that ;o) I think he was muttering something about wishing he had more daughters......lmao

The trigger guard is the breakaway lever as that is a single shot rifle and it features a rolling block breech....cool.....

Actually, what's almost as funny is overacting the kick, so the new guy thinks it's going to kick really hard, on a low-kick rifle. I've actually seen someone fall over forwards before because they threw themselves into the gun expecting a massive kick. Of course, we'd spent half the afternoon prepping him for it by showing him Youtube vids like that one...
