See, it's moments like these where I can alllllllmost understand how senfive can FOS like five people in one post.

I'll try to keep this somewhat less than novel length.

First off, we've got the MB vs. exile thing. While I don't think that exile's past indiscretions should necessarily count against him, they do pretty much ensure that I'll never trust him short of auto PMing me his role.

The weird thing is that MB has a point with this, but it seems like he's overpursuing this one.... which is a nice segue to the moz vs. AD thing.

moz976 wrote:My thoughts for the moment are that AD is guilty. I haven't seen anything from him that has changed my mind.

I am getting suspicious of MB for harping on what happened in another game that really doesn't have a lot to do with this one.

I have a way harder time of getting a handle on this one, since I've never played with either fellow. But I do know that moz is a seasoned vet, so I'm willing to at least give him the benefit of the doubt at this point. However, while AD may have bandwagoned spin, I don't think it's the same for UCA. He just expressed his frustration at UCA in a less constructive way than the rest of us, and he did say that he'd remove his vote once UCA posted. However, AD didn't unvote now that UCA has posted. Plus logging on as hidden has the whiff of mafia to it, and if AD is town, he really should know better. So while I'm in the mood...

FOS Anarkist

As far as minkish goes, he's chilled out quite a bit, so I'm less inclined to vote for him out of pure spite.

What it all boils down to, tho, is something I said a few posts ago: anything at this point in the game can be made to look scummy. It's just a matter of not falling into senfive paranoia.

Which leads me to the most recent fascinating development...

Hey, we've had our differences of opinion, but I respect the fact that you play this game hard, and play to win, and it's not often that someone feels compelled to say "where's senfive? We haven't heard from him in awhile."

Besides, I figure at this point it's a given that anyone with their head screwed on straight is suspicious of pretty much everyone else on day one.

gl at the base. Assuming you're not mafia, of course.

Now please stop spamming our thread. :D

what is the very last word (and that word only) in your win condition? please respond with just that word. thanks.

dummies wrote:i don't know if this is legal, but here goes anyway. the word is thread

Wicked wrote:are you sure? thread? please go re-read. not the last word in your entire PM, but the last word in the phrase after where it says Win Condition:

yes, it's legal. I'm only asking for one word, not a quote.

Wicked wrote:ok thanks. unvote

Wow. very interesting. I take it from this, and I think all the other townies, that Wicked is also a townie, and is no way mafia.

WRONG.

It's a brilliant move I must say. And here's why. How hard is it to fool someone here into thinking they are a townie with this play......not hard at all. All you have to know is 1) What your PM says 2) That the person you are asking is townie 3) That it's gonna be a word that has to do with lynched or dead, being that it's a townie's win condition.

So once she asked Dummies this question, she knew he was wrong when he first said "thread" because mafia most likely have the word thread at the bottom of their PM, with the game thread linked to it, just like we do. But once she made him understand what word she was looking for, she knew that the word he gave was right, even though she never saw the word herself, because she knew dummies was a townie, and it had to be right. And now everyone will think she's a townie, because she put him through that test, proving that he is not mafia (which he isn't) and she must not be mafia (but she is)

Very well done Wicked!

Also, if you notice, Wicked throws out Spin's name as a vote. All the sudden people jump all over that bandwagon, and he gets voted out very fast. Now wicked is worried, and is throwing fos everywhere on the people who voted after her, even though she started the voting. Which is very weird, since we still didn't know whether Spin was mafia or not. Well we didn't know, but Wicked, being mafia did know, which is why is threw others under the bus, and tried to clear any fos away from her.

Wicked also claimed she didn't know Spin had 2 votes. If this is true, then that looks like someone who maybe skimmed some page or 2. Amd who skims pages.....mafia.

And 1 last thing.

You notice how Wicked has on more then 1 occasion pointed out in this game, how she is playing different then in games when she was mafia. Why would someone go out of their way, to point that out to people, when they really haven't been under pressure at all in this game yet?

Wicked's a smart player, but I think I got her pegged here. Of course, if I'm mistaking, then I'm a giant idiot......but I dont think I am.

I think that sums up your entire post nicely. If you were following along closely, I have already explained myself on the spin situation ad nauseum. Go back and read.

Tell me MB, do you not agree that is the correct word he gave? I was not doing that to clear myself, rather see if I could peg whether he was townie or not. notice I didn't say "clear him", b/c not much can do that in this game. why would I go through all that to ultimately unvote him if I was mafia? If I was mafia, I'd want to see him lynched!

No, you would rather look like you cleared him, with this great info that only the townies knew from their PMs, when in reality, that test could have been easily pulled off by a mafia player, and worked just like it did. You didn't need to know what the word was, you just needed to know dummies was a townie, and the word he said was 100% correct because he was townie.

Yea, you saved a townie from being lynched, but in the process, and more importantly for you, you cleared your name, because everyone, including myself, thought right after that "Ok, so dummies and Wicked are cleared" That was well worth you saving a townie.

OK I see your point. But if I was mafia, how was I to know he wasn't a SK or something like that with a slightly different PM? hmm??? why would I take that chance??

tell me MB, are you a townie? does it say you're a townie in your PM? or no? yes or no will suffice.

ok since I don't think we can use this question after the first kill, where the dead's role is revealed, go ahead and tell us what you're referred to as, if not townie.

Because we're on a ship? Of course we're crew members. Again, you cleared me of being a mafia member, because you knew what ever I said, it was right, because you know I'm a townie.

I could have said "we're giant rosie o'donnell's, and you would have believed me.
