I woke up about the time I made that post about quiche, which was about 1am for me, iirc. I read the first few pages, got very annoyed at the spam, and watched some scrubs. Went to uni a few hours later, figuring that I could post after work, when I got home. I ended up having to film a scene from a film, and ended up back home latish that night, and found out you guys had already lynched someone. I mean, I figured days here would be quick, but without a deadline, I didn't realise they'd be that quick.

That said, lurking isn't really a tell for me. I can give you at least one ame I can think of off the top of my head where I didn't post for a month, and also a fair few games where I didn't post for three weeks, all as town. I figured I'd be able to keep up in a game like this, as I play a lot of chat mafia, and I've done a few real-time games. I think I've been fairly decent today, but reading those first 40 pages was just as annoying as I thought it would be, and to be honest I simply didn't have the time that day.

Nice case there!

51:- You referred another post. The jist of it is that I am suspicious because there was a no-kill somehow that night, so you think I missed my kill. Not only is this statistically dumb, it is also disproved by the fact that I actually confirmed in the inquisition mafia signup thread overnight, so there is a confirmed record of me being in this forum during the night of this game.

And by not posting in this thread, when you have acknowledged you were around, you look scummy...

Simple as that...

By the by, acting like an asshole with your dry, sarcastic wit makes you look even worse.

Oh, and secondly, I hate the frigging spam, too... Which is why it will not exist in my game, or I'll just modkill them...

Post about the game... We have four thousand other threads to chat in...

So, in that one, Primate, I'm with ya!

To at least show you were active...

Because, as you obviously noted, the days can go by very quick... And if you had missed the second one, you would have probably been lynched... I think you realized that...

And I also believe that is why you suddenly became active. Because you didn't want to die.

*shrug* I'm sorry if my logic isn't good enough for you.

Primates explanation seems satisfactory. Much better, and mature than Hitman's. I cannot say he's innocent of course, because it is only day 2 and not much has happened. But there are no grounds for a vote against him from my behalf.

You say that about everyone, Aegnor... So, to help my conscience, I would like to know who the three scummiest looking people are to you right now?

why do you need to know I am active during the night? Being inactive when there's stuff to do, I can understand how that is scummy. Being inactive when everyone else is just fucking around? Not sure I follow.

and you have an oddish definition of what is scummy. Seeing as you find this scummy, I assume you think that the best thing for me to do would have been to go into day 2, continue not to post, get myself lynched and just generally be a good little boy? Is that what you wanted me to do? If not, what would you have done in my position?

It's almost like you're saying that I am suspcious for not actually wanting to be lynched. I mean the fact is actually correct. I, indeed, don't actually want to be lynched. I just don't see how that follows through to me being scum.

We can start lynching the assholes after we get rid of all the scum, k?

maybe I did not make myself clear...

You realized that by not posting, you were going to be lynched.... You saw that due to several votes and FOSes in the last two or three pages before you started posting... Or at least by the fact that people were talking about lynching the deadweight...

So, you started posting... Which looks to me like you had been reading everything at least SOMEWHAT and knew what was going on. You started posting becuase suddenly, everyone would take their FOSes and Votes off of you because they were leaning towards removal of submariners...

So, by suddenly jumping in and acting so concerned, you have cleared yourself. Unfortunately, I still find that, when you do post, you have very little to say beyond what has already been said. Repeating what others are saying makes you look clean in their eyes.

Did that make more sense?

Ok. This makes sense. That said, I don't really know how I can defend myself against it. You're just wrong, and the only people that can prove you're actually wrong are in real life.

That's why I'm putting together this huge post. I've started drinking, so it should take a bit longer than I thought it might, but it'll still be done in a few hours. It's pretty much my opinion on everything so far.

I'm rereading the game, making comments on things I feel notable. This struck me as a little too ambitious a way through, though, so it's not quite everything I feel notable, but it's still pretty weighty. The fact is, even the people I think are town in this game have been pouring scumtells fairly heavily. I don't see why I should point out the failings in people I think are town though.

OK my 3 scummiest so far:

Hitman - Which has my vote for time being. His behavior is too weird, I really can't explain it. Haven't decided yet if he's a noob, or a pro who acts like a noob in order to clear himself.
Aimless - Seems way too defensive, probably might be scumming along with Hitman.
Puff - The least scummy of the 3 but still might be mafia, he was extremely silent, and as I heard from the more experienced players he does not tend to miss his night actions. This indeed might clear him from being a SK or a Vig, but his awkward silence might still point out he's a scum.

That's my opinion so far.

I agree, but there is also jnd, who was acting a little weird and very defensive earlier, and he did seem to be craving night on the first day. But then again, everyone else was as well. :P

After reading Primates rundown, I can expound upon this more... I think Aimless, puff, and Primate look the most suspicious...

On the other hand, this is Primates first game on CC, so I don't know if Fir would have given him a mafia role...

Unvote

The more I think about that, the more sense it makes...

Of course, Fir and Primate have played games on mafiascum together, I believe, so maybe he IS scum and is just really damn good at it...

Are role allocations not random here then? That kind of thing is useful to know.

Primate seems very eloquent and experienced in this game. He provides coherent defenses against any accusations and he may as well be scum. Although he could be a townie just as well, I really haven't got enough evidence for the time being. I will classify him just a little under Puff in the scummy-meter.

I believe they're completely random judging from games played here in general.
