why don t you take your kids fishing instead? nothing will happen with a fishing rod except eventually lose an eye
I take them fishing as often as I can. They would rather shoot. We usually kill paper targets and static clay pigeons with BB guns but we treat air powered the same as any weapon, rules are important.
One of the biggest problems with guns and kids is instead of being taught things like. Allways assume it is loaded. Finger off the trigger. Never aim at anything unless you are going to shoot it and if you kill something you have to eat it.
They are told to not to touch uncles guns. Then once they get their hands on one they accidentally shoot someone because they were playing around and did not know it was loaded. Firearms are a tool not a toy.
Toy guns belonging to my kids other than nerf brand are not to be pointed at people or they get taken away.
