ITT, you have a choice:

1) Either you can save your most useful hand from utter destruction, or...

2) One thousand people, who you don't know and are far away, will die.

Note: no one will know about this. The deaths of these people won't be linked to you. Will their deaths be gruesome? That is uncertain, but rest assured, they'll definitely die. Blah blah blah, please focus on the two choices. You have 30 seconds.

lshicastr BBS, the way it's worded means "Save your hand or 1000 people will die." So if you don't save your hand, the people will die! So it's a win-win, save your hand and they live! Yay!
